Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) announces teaching jobs for the post of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturers. Applications for AIOU teaching jobs can be submitted online at AIOU's official website. The Last date for submission of the job application is 08-07-2022. No experience is required for the post of Lecturers and assistant professors while a minimum of 15 years of teaching or research experience is required for the post of Professor, and 10 years for the associate professor.

Requirementsnts

• First Class MS/ M.Phill equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from HEC recognized university/institution with no3rd Division in the academic career.
• Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as Lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding Institutions provided that the candidate holding a higher degree viz Ph.D. or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in the entire academic career.

AIOU Job Application IMPORTANT POINTS

• The eligibility of the candidates and subsequent shortlisting shall strictly be determined/ carried out as per the provisions laid down In the AIOU services statutes 1978 as amended from time to time and AIOU Recruitment Policy.
• Maximum age limit as prescribed under Rules shall be relaxed in pursuance of Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993 (amended from time to lime), as provided in AIOU Services Statutes 1978 (amended from time to time).
• The applications (both in hard and soft form) should reach the undersigned on or before the cutoff date. In absence of an Online application, hard & soft copies of the applications will not be entertained. The submission of the dossier in hard form is mandatory after the submission of the online application. v Applicants working on Regular/acting charge/officiating/Ad-hoc/current charge. and/or contract basis in Government/Semi-Government and Autonomous Bodies (including employees of AIOU) must apply through proper channel and submit NOC, service certificate(s) issued by the respective Controlling Authority, by the due date, failing which application shall be considered incomplete and liable to be rejected.
•  Information claimed in the online application form shall be treated as final, subsequent claims, earlier not given in the online application form, are considered an afterthought and an attempt to become eligible. Such subsequent claims shall not be accepted.
• The AlOU reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or not to fill any post/. the appointment against Any post, without assigning any reason thereof.
