The all-time favorite Ethiopian artist Kennedy Mengesha's tragic end and his amazing experiences. Singer Kennedy Menegesha died at the age of 29 and in his short-lived career, he left behind 57 songs through 9 cassettes that he presented to the public. Kazzanchis was his last residence before his untimely death.

The reason he got the name "Kennedy" is that he was born in November 1963, the assassination month and year of J.F. Kennedy (35th President of the United States from January 1961 until he was assassinated in November 1963).

Kennedy Mangesha was one of Ethiopia's top modern artists with a string of hits to his credit. Beautifully backed by the Roha Band with their usual fast-paced sax and guitar lineup. Great vocals with Kennedy weaving and warbling his way through the octaves. Lovely.

His friends testified that on one occasion when he was leaving the studio, he gave the new clothes that Ethiopia Television had filmed in one of his music projects to a security guard who found him at the door.

His relatives say that he had a great love for motorcycles and used to ride them regularly. The popular singer Kennedy Mengesha passed away on July 19, 1985, at the age of 29. Even today, when Kennedy's music is heard, the hearts of his loved ones are filled with sadness.

Between 1979 and 1985, Kennedy Mengesha produced the following albums: "Bemela New" (1979), "Endiyaw Hode" (1980), "Kefonagle" (1982), "Lehun Dehena" (1984), and "EMba Sanq Aihonane" (1985).

In 1981 with Asefu Debalke, Rachel Yohannes, and Teshome Aseged, in 1982 with Yeshimbet Dubale, and in 1983 with Bertukan Dubale, he played many popular songs.
