He receives calls from his kidnappers. These calls are exercises in frustration. There is nothing quite like being put on hold while you're buried alive. 6. Buried Review

Screen Rant's Ben Kendrick reviews Buried. Buried isn't a big-budget comic book film or a 3D CGI extravaganza, but it's still one of the most thrilling films of the year. Don't let the simple "man in a box" concept fool you - director Rodrigo Cortés (The Contestant) utilizes a number of slick storytelling devices to portray a claustrophobic - and ultimately enjoyable - experience on film.

  7. Buried (2010)

Buried seems to be a very divisive film. I'm seeing lots of 1 star reviews, and lots of 8-10 star reviews. **THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS** I won't rehash the plot, as every other review seems to. 19. Movie Review: Buried (2010)

I'll just say, it ends exactly as Buried should end. That's an easy way out, but saying whether Paul enjoys a breath of fresh air or not would simply ruin everything Chris, Rodrigo, Ryan and many others worked so hard to set up. See it — just be warned, it isn't for the faint hearted. Critical Movie Critic Rating: 5.
