हिंदी माध्यम में निबंध के लिए उपयोगी पुस्तकें

‘संघ लोक सेवा आयोग’ (UPSC) द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष ‘भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा’ (IAS) की परीक्षा आयोजित कराई जाती है। यूपीएससी द्वारा इस परीक्षा का आयोजन कुल 3 चरणों में किया जाता है। ये चरण हैं- प्रारंभिक परीक्षा, मुख्य परीक्षा और साक्षात्कार। इनमें प्रारंभिक परीक्षा में दो प्रश्न पत्र होते हैं। प्रथम प्रश्न पत्र सामान्य अध्ययन से संबंधित होता है, जबकि दूसरा प्रश्न पत्र सीसैट होता है। सीसैट के प्रश्न पत्र में गणित, रिजनिंग और पैराग्राफ से संबंधित प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं। इस परीक्षा प्रणाली में प्रारंभिक परीक्षा में प्राप्त किए गए अंकों का महत्व सिर्फ इतना होता है कि इस में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर अभ्यर्थी को मुख्य परीक्षा लिखने का अवसर मिलता है और प्रारंभिक परीक्षा में प्राप्त किए गए अंकों का विद्यार्थी के अंतिम परिणाम में कोई योगदान नहीं होता है। यहाँ यह बात याद रखने योग्य है की सीसैट के अंक प्रारंभिक परीक्षा की कट ऑफ निर्धारित करते समय शामिल नहीं किए जाते हैं इसका अर्थ है किसी सेट की परीक्षा सिर्फ क्वालीफाइंग प्रकृति की होती है। प्रारंभिक परीक्षा के तहत आयोजित कराए जाने वाले दोनों ही प्रश्न पत्र 200-200 अंक के होते हैं।

IAS  परीक्षा में निबंध का महत्व

इस परीक्षा के द्वितीय चरण ‘मुख्य परीक्षा’ में कुल 9 प्रश्न पत्र होते हैं। इनमें से चार प्रश्न पत्र सामान्य अध्ययन से संबंधित होते हैं। दो प्रश्न पत्र वैकल्पिक विषय से संबंधित होते हैं। एक प्रश्न पत्र निबंध से संबंधित होता है। एक अंग्रेजी भाषा का प्रश्न पत्र होता है, जबकि अंतिम प्रश्न पत्र किसी भारतीय भाषा से संबंधित होता है। इस भारतीय भाषा वाले प्रश्न पत्र के लिए प्रत्येक अभ्यर्थी को कोई एक ऐसी भारतीय भाषा चयनित करनी होती है, जो भारतीय संविधान की आठवीं अनुसूची में उल्लिखित हो। मुख्य परीक्षा के अंतर्गत आयोजित कराए जाने वाले कुल 9 प्रश्न पत्रों में से अंग्रेजी भाषा का प्रश्न पत्र और किसी अन्य भारतीय भाषा का प्रश्न पत्र 300-300 अंकों के होता है, जबकि इन दो प्रश्न पत्रों के अतिरिक्त मुख्य परीक्षा के अन्य सभी सातों प्रश्न पत्र 250-250 अंकों के होते हैं।

इस परीक्षा प्रणाली में अभ्यर्थी के अंतिम स्कोर की गणना करते समय अंग्रेजी भाषा के प्रश्न पत्र तथा विद्यार्थी द्वारा चयनित की गई भारतीय भाषा के प्रश्न पत्र में प्राप्त किये गए अंकों को शामिल नहीं किया जाता है। अर्थात् मुख्य परीक्षा के भाषा संबंधी दोनों प्रश्न पत्रों को छोड़कर, शेष सभी प्रश्न पत्रों के अंक अभ्यर्थी के अंतिम परिणाम में शामिल होते हैं। इन सभी सातों प्रश्न पत्रों का कुल योग 1750 अंक होता है। फिर मुख्य परीक्षा की कट ऑफ के आधार पर अभ्यर्थी को साक्षात्कार के लिए चयनित किया जाता है। इस परीक्षा प्रणाली में साक्षात्कार अंतिम चरण होता है। साक्षात्कार के लिए कुल 275 अंक निर्धारित होते हैं और अभ्यर्थी का अंतिम परिणाम मुख्य परीक्षा में प्राप्त किए गए अंकों तथा साक्षात्कार में प्राप्त किए गए अंकों के सकल योग यानी 2025 अंकों के आधार पर निर्धारित होता है।

हमने ऊपर जो विश्लेषण किया है, इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य यह समझना है कि हमारी इस परीक्षा प्रणाली में निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र का कितना महत्व है। ऊपर किए गए विश्लेषण से यह स्पष्ट हो जाता है कि मुख्य परीक्षा में निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र के लिए 250 अंक निर्धारित किए गए हैं। निबंध का प्रश्न पत्र 3 घंटे का होता है और प्रत्येक अभ्यर्थी को 3 घंटे में दो निबंध लिखने होते हैं। निबंध का प्रश्न पत्र दो भागों में विभाजित होता है और प्रत्येक अभ्यर्थी को हर एक भाग में से अपनी इच्छा अनुसार किसी एक विषय का चयन कर के उस पर निबंध लिखना होता है। चूँकि इस परीक्षा प्रणाली में निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र के लिए 250 अंक निर्धारित किए गए हैं, इसीलिए इस परीक्षा प्रणाली में निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र का महत्व बहुत अधिक बढ़ जाता है। ऐसे में, संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा आयोजित की जा रही इस परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहे हर एक अभ्यर्थी के लिए यह आवश्यक हो जाता है कि वह निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र पर भी गंभीरता से ध्यान दे और इसकी बेहतर तरीके से तैयारी करे।

UPSC निबंध के लिए उपयोगी पुस्तकें

ऐसी स्थिति में, आईएएस की परीक्षा की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के लिए इस बात की उपयोगिता बढ़ जाती है कि वे निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी करने के लिए बेहतर पुस्तकों का चयन  करें। अपने इस आलेख में हम कुछ ऐसी निबंध संबंधी पुस्तकों का उल्लेख करने जा रहे हैं, जो आपको इस प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी में सहायता प्रदान करने वाली सिद्ध होंगी। हमने हिंदी माध्यम की इन निबंध से संबंधित पुस्तकों की सूची काफी अनुसंधान करने के बाद तैयार की है। इन पुस्तकों के अध्ययन के बाद आईएएस की परीक्षा की तैयारी करने वाले हिंदी माध्यम के विद्यार्थियों को निश्चित रूप से लाभ होगा। तो आइए, हम हिंदी माध्यम में निबंध की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के लिए निबंध से संबंधित कुछ प्रमुख पुस्तकों के विषय में संक्षेप में चर्चा करते हैं-

  • संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा आयोजित की जाने वाली आईएएस की परीक्षा की दृष्टि से लिखी गई हिंदी माध्यम की निबंध संबंधी पुस्तकों में सबसे पहले हम आईएएस अधिकारी ‘निशांत जैन’ और एक अन्य आईएएस अधिकारी ‘ गंगा सिंह राजपुरोहित’ द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से लिखी गई निबंध की पुस्तक को पढ़ने का सुझाव देंगे। चूँकि यह पुस्तक 2 आईएएस अधिकारियों ने लिखी है, इसीलिए हमने इसे अपनी सुझाव सूची में प्रथम स्थान पर रखा है।
  • हिंदी माध्यम में निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के लिए एक अन्य निबंध की पुस्तक भी काफी महत्वपूर्ण है, जिसका लेखन ‘डॉ. अवधेश सिंह’ द्वारा किया गया है।
  • निबंध प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी हिंदी माध्यम में करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के लिए एक अन्य पुस्तक ‘निबंध मंजूषा’ के नाम से प्रकाशित होती है। इस पुस्तक का लेखन ‘समीरात्मक मिश्र’ द्वारा किया गया है। यह पुस्तक ‘टाटा मैक-ग्रा हिल प्रकाशन’ द्वारा प्रकाशित की जाती है। यह पुस्तक भी हिंदी माध्यम में आईएएस परीक्षा की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के लिए निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र के दृष्टिकोण से महत्वपूर्ण साबित हो सकती है।
  • इनके अतिरिक्त, हिंदी माध्यम में ही निबंध प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी करने के लिए ‘दिशा प्रकाशन’ द्वारा भी एक पुस्तक का प्रकाशन किया जाता है। यह पुस्तक भी हिंदी माध्यम में निबंध प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी करने के संबंध में विद्यार्थियों की सहायता कर सकती है।
  • हिंदी माध्यम से आईएएस की परीक्षा की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों को निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी करने में ‘किरण प्रकाशन’ द्वारा प्रकाशित की जाने वाली एक अन्य पुस्तक भी सहायता कर सकती है।  इस पुस्तक के लेखक ‘अमित कुमार’ हैं । आईएएस की परीक्षा की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थी इस पुस्तक को भी हिंदी माध्यम में निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी करने के लिए अपनी पुस्तक सूची  का हिस्सा बना सकते हैं।
  • इसके अलावा, हिंदी माध्यम से आईएएस की परीक्षा की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थी निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी के लिए ‘घटना चक्र’ द्वारा प्रकाशित की जाने वाली ‘निबंध संग्रह’ नामक पुस्तक पर भी भरोसा कर सकते हैं। इस पुस्तक में भी विभिन्न विषयों से संबंधित निबंधों को विस्तार पूर्वक लिखा गया है।
  • एक अन्य पुस्तक हिंदी माध्यम से निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के लिए सहायक सिद्ध हो सकती है। यह पुस्तक ‘निबंध मंथन’ के नाम से प्रकाशित की जाती है। इस पुस्तक का प्रकाशन ‘परीक्षा मंथन’ द्वारा किया जाता है। परीक्षा मंथन लोक सेवा परीक्षाओं से संबंधित अन्य पुस्तकों का प्रकाशन भी करता है।
  • ‘संघ लोक सेवा आयोग’ द्वारा आयोजित की जाने वाली ‘भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा’ की परीक्षा की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के बीच एक जाना-माना प्रकाशन ‘स्पेक्ट्रम’ भी हिंदी माध्यम में निबंध से संबंधित एक पुस्तक प्रकाशित करता है। स्पेक्ट्रम प्रकाशन द्वारा प्रकाशित की जाने वाली उस पुस्तक का नाम ‘निबंध बोध’ है। हिंदी माध्यम के अभ्यर्थी इस पुस्तक के माध्यम से दी अपनी निबंध संबंधी प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी को आगे बढ़ा सकते हैं।
  • हिंदी माध्यम में आईएएस की परीक्षा देने वाले अभ्यर्थी अपने निबंध से संबंधित प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी के लिए एक अन्य पुस्तक ‘निबंध महासागर’ का भी उपयोग कर सकते हैं। यह पुस्तक ‘डॉ. प्रमोद कुमार अग्रवाल’ द्वारा लिखी गई है। निबंध महासागर पुस्तक के लेखक भी एक आईएएस अधिकारी हैं। यह पुस्तक भी हिंदी माध्यम में निबंध प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी करने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के लिए सहायक सिद्ध हो सकती है।
  • इनके अलावा, आईएएस की परीक्षा को हिंदी माध्यम में देने वाले अभ्यर्थी अपने निबंध संबंधित प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी के लिए ‘निबंध माला’ नामक पुस्तक पर भी भरोसा कर सकते हैं। यह पुस्तक ‘योगेश चंद्र जैन’ द्वारा लिखी गई है। इस पुस्तक का प्रकाशन ‘अरिहंत प्रकाशन’ द्वारा किया जाता है। हिंदी माध्यम से आईएएस की परीक्षा देने वाले अभ्यर्थी अपने निबंध से संबंधित प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी के लिए इस पुस्तक को अपनी पुस्तक सूची का हिस्सा बना सकते हैं।

IAS परीक्षा में निबंध लेखन की तैयारी कैसे करें?

इस प्रकार, हमने अपने अभी तक के विवरण में समझा कि हिंदी माध्यम से आईएएस की परीक्षा देने वाले अभ्यर्थी अपने निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी के लिए कौन सी पुस्तकों का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं। ये पुस्तकें अभ्यर्थी को निबंध लेखन में काफी सहायता प्रदान कर सकती हैं। वैसे तो निबंध लेखन कुछ दिन या महीनों में नहीं सीखा जा सकता है। एक बेहतर निबंध एक लंबे और अथक परिश्रम की तैयारी के बाद ही लिखा जा सकता है। इसके अलावा, एक अच्छा निबंध किसी एक पुस्तक का मोहताज भी नहीं होता है, बल्कि संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा आयोजित की जाने वाली आईएएस की परीक्षा में लिखे जाने वाले निबंध किसी अभ्यर्थी की संपूर्ण तैयारी का ही प्रतिबिंब होता है। इसीलिए इस परीक्षा की तैयारी करने वाले प्रत्येक अभ्यर्थी को अपनी तैयारी के दौरान ऐसे प्रत्येक खंड को गंभीरता से समझना चाहिए, जो उसे निबंध लेखन में सहायता प्रदान कर सकता है।

निबंध लेखन करने वाले अभ्यर्थी के लिए सबसे पहले यह आवश्यक होता है कि वह पूछे गए निबंध के विषय को बेहतर तरीके से समझे तथा उस पर विभिन्न आयामों में सोचने का प्रयास करे। एक बेहतर निबंध उसे ही माना जाता है, जो विभिन्न आयामों को शामिल करता है। निबंध में सटीक उद्धरणों का प्रयोग बहुत ही अधिक प्रभावी माना जाता है। ऐसे में, प्रत्येक अभ्यर्थी को निबंध लेखन के दौरान पूछे गए निबंध के विषय से संबंधित विभिन्न आयामों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना चाहिए और अपने निबंध को गुणवत्ता परक बनाना चाहिए। एक अच्छा निबंध लिखने के लिए आईएएस की परीक्षा की तैयारी करने वाले हर एक अभ्यर्थी को पाठ्यक्रम से संबंधित अन्य विषयों की तैयारी के दौरान निरंतर इस बात पर केंद्रित रहना चाहिए कि कौन सी पाठ्य सामग्री उसे निबंध लेखन में सहायता प्रदान कर सकती है। संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा आयोजित की जाने वाली आईएएस की परीक्षा की दृष्टि से बेहतर निबंध लिखने के लिए अभ्यर्थी को कुछ साहित्यिक पाठ्य सामग्री का भी अध्ययन करना चाहिए तथा यथासंभव और सटीक रूप में निबंध लेखन के दौरान उसका उपयोग करना चाहिए।

वैसे तो हमने ऊपर ऐसी काफी पुस्तकों का जिक्र किया है, जो हिंदी माध्यम में आईएएस की परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहे अभ्यर्थियों के लिए निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र को तैयार करने में बेहतर साबित हो सकती हैं, लेकिन इसी के साथ अभ्यर्थियों को इस बात का भी ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि उन्हें निबंध के प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी के करने के लिए किसी एक पुस्तक पर ही निर्भर नहीं रहना चाहिए, बल्कि अपने निबंध को विभिन्न आयाम देने के लिए उसे अन्य स्रोतों का भी उपयोग करना चाहिए। ये अन्य स्रोत आईएएस की परीक्षा के पाठ्यक्रम से संबंधित अन्य विषय, अखबार, साहित्यिक पाठ्य सामग्री, पिछले वर्षों के प्रश्न पत्र इत्यादि हो सकते हैं। इसके अलावा, ज्यादा से ज्यादा मात्रा में निबंध लेखन का अभ्यास करना अत्यंत कारगर साबित हो सकता है। प्रत्येक अभ्यर्थी को आईएएस की परीक्षा में पिछले वर्षो में पूछे गए निबंधों को लिखने का प्रयास करना चाहिए, इससे उनकी तैयारी को अत्यधिक धार मिलती है और वे इस परीक्षा में सफलता के अधिक निकट पहुँच जाते हैं। अंत में, हम उम्मीद करते हैं कि हिंदी माध्यम से संघ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा आयोजित की जाने वाली आईएएस की परीक्षा देने वाले अभ्यर्थियों के लिए यह आलेख काफी लाभप्रद साबित होगा तथा उनके निबंध से संबंधित प्रश्न पत्र की तैयारी में यह काफी सहायता प्रदान करेगा।

Do keep in mind the below-mentioned tips. Following these strategies can make a huge boost in your Essay Paper marks .

  • Try to write a few essays in full during your preparation, simulating the environment in the examination hall.
  • Familiarize yourself with previous essays asked by UPSC so that you will have a clear picture of the type and standard of questions to be expected.
  • UPSC/the examiner normally gives credit to new perspectives and fresh analysis.
  • Avoid verbosity and flowery language. Use a simple style instead.

UPSC Syllabus 2024: IAS Prelims and Mains Exam Syllabus

UPSC Syllabus 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Civil Service Examination (CSE), which is the most prestigious examination in the country. Every year, lakhs of candidates fill out the application form to compete for approximately a thousand posts. Candidates must focus on establishing a solid understanding of the UPSC syllabus in order to do well in the UPSC CSE.

UPSC has released its UPSC CSE 2024 notification on February 14, and prelims are scheduled to be conducted tentatively on May 26, 2024. It is high time for beginners to start preparing for the 2024 exams. The article provides detailed information on the comprehensive UPSC Syllabus for Prelims, Mains, and Interviews, along with access to the UPSC Syllabus PDF

The UPSC prelims consists of two papers, i.e. General Studies (GS) 1 and General Studies (GS) 2, where the important subjects in GS 1 are   history, geography, economics, polity, current affairs, science and technology, etc. and the important subjects for GS 2 are quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, English, etc.

UPSC Syllabus 2024

The purpose of the UPSC syllabus is to evaluate candidates' knowledge, aptitude, and analytical skills. It consists of two papers  GS Paper I and GS Paper II (commonly known as the CSAT or Civil Services Aptitude Test) are two required papers in the UPSC Syllabus for Prelims. Numerous topics are covered in prelims, such as current events, science, geography, economics, politics, history, and the environment.

The UPSC mains exam consists of 9 specialised subjects: one essay paper, four General Studies papers, two optional subject papers, and two language papers (both qualifying in nature).

UPSC IAS Prelims General Studies I

The UPSC IAS Prelims syllabus of General Studies (GS) Paper I consists of subjects such as Current events of national and international importance, history of India and Indian National Movement, Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, and Economic Geography of India and the World, Indian Polity and Governance-Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights, Issues, etc., Economic and Social Development-Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc. General issues on environmental ecology, biodiversity, and climate change that do not require subject specialisation and general science. 

UPSC IAS Prelims General Studies II

The UPSC IAS Prelims syllabus of General Studies (GS) Paper II, generally known as CSAT, consists of subjects such as comprehension, interpersonal skills, including communication skills, logical reasoning and analytical ability, decision-making and problem solving, general mental ability, basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency, etc.) (Class X level). The CSAT paper is also qualifying in nature, in which candidates need to score a minimum of 33% marks.

UPSC IAS Mains Syllabus 2024

The UPSC mains syllabus is the written exam which consist of 9 papers including essay, general studies paper and an optional subject. The mains exam evaluate deep understanding of candidate on particular topic and candidate's ability to articulate their understanding within the given time frame. The examination will consists of  nine papers, including two qualifying papers of 300 marks each in any Indian language and English. Candidates must score at least 25% in both qualifying papers for their Essay, General Studies, and Optional Subject papers to be considered for evaluation.

UPSC IAS Mains Essay 2024 

The UPSC IAS Essay is also known as Paper I where candidates are required to write an essay on the given topic. The candidates will be asked to write and organise their thoughts in an orderly manner. The more score will be given to candidates who have written in a precise and effective form,

UPSC IAS Mains General Studies 2024

The UPSC IAS Mains General Studies consists of 4 papers on General Studies, i.e., General Studies I, General Studies II, General Studies III, and General Studies IV. The topics that are covered in each paper are listed below:

  • GS Paper I consists of Indian Heritage and Culture, History and Geography of the World and Society
  • GS Paper II consists of Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International Relations
  • GS Paper III consists of Technology, Economic Development, Bio-diversity, Environment, Security and Disaster Management
  • GS Paper IV consists of Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude

UPSC IAS Mains Optional Subjects

Candidates can choose one optional subject from a list provided by the UPSC. The syllabus for optional subjects varies depending on the subject chosen. There will be two paper from the optional chosen. Candidates can find the list of optional subjects provided by UPSC:
