Women throughout the ages have always played a pivotal role in the shaping of society, especially seen in the family set up as well as positions of leadership. Traditionally, women are considered as mothers, the agents of procreation as well as wives, who were to diligently be at the service of not only their husbands but also the whole society.

In today’s society, together with their traditional roles, women have shown high degrees of responsibility for not only their families but also for the wider society that is especially seen in political, social, scientific and many more fields (Bert, 2006).

With the rise of feminism ideals, women have sought to disentangle themselves from traditional values that have proven to sideline them from self-independence and actualization as women (Cook, 2006). This is seen in the capabilities of women that are emphasized such as being the backbone of developing the world economies.

But that does not mean that women cease to be women but rather as complementary of the malefactor. In most families where women have taken up an important role, that of supplementing their men in providing for the family through involvement in salaried jobs, such families flourish economically because there is no straining of the family financially which could have been realized if only the man were providing for the household (Bert, 2006).

Traditionally, men were regarded as family breadwinners; women were on the receiving end as homemakers. But this has greatly changed due to the economic times that call for a substantially good income to support families. In the leadership arena, quite several great women rulers stand out as good and successful leaders, one of the examples being that of the Margret Thatcher and the likes.

In today’s society, very many women have stood out as exemplary world leaders. Most of who have not ignored their roles at the family and society level. Though with powers, some of them have proven otherwise with the rise in divorce cases due to feminist ideals.

In the advent of the era characterized by divorces and single parenthood taking center stage, women are put in the limelight as the family breadwinners and as mothers too. Their roles have taken another turn because of this. This though has not been seen as a problem on their side because they have stood the test of time to prove that they indeed can manage (Cook, 2006).

When serving as family breadwinners and mothers at the same time, they get less involved with their children because most of the time they have to be out working, but they always tend to find time for their families which gives room for more bonding and developing good- mother-child relationships.

When they play the role of mothers in the family, they are the first child educators before a child seeks formal education, as wives, as the common analog states, ‘behind every successful man, is a woman,’ it is evident that the role of women in society calls for a lot, traditionally they were to stand by their husbands as homemakers and as mothers, a child’s success was attributed mainly to the mother (Cook, 2006).

Even though women have gotten involved much more in outdoor activities away from their spouses and children, their roles still stand and most of them once away from the office or their work stations, they are the diligent wives and mothers.

Women's representation in Congress and participation in the workforce has grown, but disparities still exist at home and elsewhere.

Societal structures change from generation to generation, leading to changes in the roles women play in politics and the workforce, and childrearing. But how has women's participation in different sectors of American society changed over the last 50 years?

Are more women serving in Congress?

In the past four decades, women’s representation in Congress has increased substantially. Women now make up a quarter of members of Congress, which is more than double the number who served in the 106th Congress of 1999 to 2001.

Women held 150 seats in the 117th Congress, which spanned January 3, 2021, to January 3, 2023, making up about 25% of Congress. Even though women’s participation in Congress is up 56% from a decade prior, to reach representation proportional with the population, that number would need to double.

Has women’s participation in the workforce increased?

Women’s labor force participation rate grew from 34% in 1950 to 60% in 2000, and is expected to 0.7% per year through 2050. This figure, however, varies among different demographic groups.

Despite Congress passing the Equal Pay Act in 1963, a wage gap remains. In 2020, women earned 82 cents for every dollar earned by men, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics . Even with educational advancements and entry into higher-paying fields, women tend to be more represented in lower-paying sectors.

For instance, 77% of public elementary and secondary school teachers were women in the 2020–2021 school year.

Even though 95% of elementary, middle and high school teachers have a bachelor’s degree or higher, their pay was lower than that of their similarly educated peers. Average earnings were $53,800 for elementary and middle school teachers, and $57,840 for high school teachers. To compare, biological scientists earn $69,880, urban and regional planners earn $79,790, and statisticians earn $96,320.

How do women balance work and childcare?

Data indicates that mothers are four times more likely than fathers to miss work due to childcare , a trend that has continued even as women’s increasing participation in the workforce. Issues such as paid parental leave complicate this picture. Although the Family and Medical Leave Act mandates a 12-week parental leave for many employees, it does not require that this leave be paid. Recent data shows that 89% of workers had access only to unpaid family and medical leave .

Women’s roles in the United States— in political arenas, the workforce, and at home—have experienced significant shifts over the decades. As women’s representation in Congress has grown, so has their participation in the labor force. But, while some disparities shrink, others persist. Still, the saddest part is at times their efforts are overlooked, and they are never praised for the things they do. People assume these works as their duties and consider them to be a free servant. This outlook needs to change, and people should understand that she might even need some help in doing the works and she is not free labour, whatever she does is out of love and love only.

To conclude, women should be encouraged to do something out of the household works, and if they already want to work in offices to earn for themselves, no one should stop them. They are an individual identity who have full freedom of doing anything that they think is the best for them.

Women’s roles have changed from the beginning until modern times. Initially, women were taught to be submissive. They were to obey God, people in authority, their parents, and their husbands. Married women’s submissiveness was both a religious and a legal duty. However, women fought for equality and human dignity and, with time, gained independence. As a result, the role of women has constantly been changing. For example, women were initially the primary givers of the elderly and children, but with time women are now taking the lead in helping families adjust to challenges and new realities. This paper will analyze the societal changes in the role of women in the workplace over time.

When two people perform the same job, they should get the same pay regardless of their hair colour, race, height, or gender. In 2018, the United States women’s national soccer team qualified for the World Cup. The team has been generating more revenue compared to its male counterparts over the years. The women players have a union that bargains for higher base pay and other benefits, including maternity leave. Women have gotten into soccer contracts that require the soccer management to pay accordingly until their contracts expire. Nowadays, women face no discrimination in pay, but their work choices lead to payment differences. Today, women have options and opportunities in the labour market; they can choose whether to take flexible jobs or climb the corporate ladder. Their choices depend on whether they want to work remotely or balance their family needs. Though there are some differences in men’s and women’s overall wages, regardless of gender, one can make choices, for there are free-market principles that create job opportunities and higher incomes for everybody (Greszler n.p.).

After the Second World War, many regarded a family as their center of life. Women gave up their jobs to take care of their families. As a result, the men became the only breadwinners as women were to care for the children. In 1920, 47% of college students were women, but the number declined; by 1958, the figure was 38%, despite federal aid in university education (Office of the Historian n.p). Women in congress had constraints due to the social expectations of women’s proper role. The women faced prejudice before joining politics because society believed women’s place was at home. Like in Andy Knutson’s case, women’s careers would be sabotaged by their husbands. Her husband would accuse her of neglecting their family and even having extra-marital affairs. However, in the 1960s, the women’s rights movement challenged traditional marriage and motherhood notions. Reproductive and sexual freedom provided several options for women. In the 1970s, women were in careers and would help with family duties. Divorce cases rose, and single working mothers became common. Over the years, women pursued male-dominated courses and engaged in national and state politics (Office of the Historian n.p).

Over the years, women have had different experiences. Some societies had political leaders, warriors, and powerful priests. Some people express that women are inferior to men. Currently, in Western societies, women enjoy equality. Women in the past have lost and gained power in different seasons. Women initially faced discrimination and gender-based violence. Some women were vital figures in ancient times, and their names echo history. Some women engaged in herbal medicine, and male doctors considered it witchcraft and quackery treatment. As a result, governments made it illegal to practice medicine without university studies, and women did not get admission opportunities to universities. Women were homemakers and were not allowed to vote. They could not own businesses and had lesser property rights than men. However, the world wars showed women were equal to the task in factory work as they positively contributed to the economy’s growth. In the 20th century, women had equality gains. Nowadays, women have work choices and enjoy job equality (McKeown, n.p.).

Regardless of the cultural narratives, women are heroes and leaders. Nowadays, there is a shift in perceptions of what women and girls can do. There have been a lot of female leaders, innovators, and heroes (Laitman, n.p). Women mainly constitute America’s workforce. Most managers in companies are women. Americans now prefer having a daughter because they think their daughters will have better lives than their mothers, great mothers, and even their brothers(Rosin n.p.). Initially, parents would reject daughters. Things are changing since women are doing better in the economy than men. Countries now force women into power to improve the nation’s fortunes (Sek?ci?ska et al., 365). For instance, after the post-genocide in Rwanda, citizens elected most women in parliament to heal themselves from the harm and massive killings that happened; women are believed to be comforters and a source of peace due to their caring nature. America’s working class is turning to matriarchy, which earlier had masculinity notions. Women making decisions at home initially meant to be done by men is common, for they have been increasingly absent from home.

American projects show that out of 15 job categories are projected to grow in future, except two. The rest of the job categories, including medicine and business, will be primarily occupied by women. Upper-class women leave their homes to work, creating domestic jobs for other women. Women are now going to work while their husbands stay home, minding their kids or looking for jobs; this has pushed women to do things against the natural norm. Women work as singles, and once they get married, they still work, leaving their children at home. They are even dominating middle management and several professional careers. In 1980, women held 26.1% of professional and managerial jobs, unlike today, where the rate has increased to 51.4% (Rosin, n.p.). Women are acquiring formal education, improving their social intelligence and communication skills. Women adopt office work. Nowadays, women have a better list of job requirements than men. As far as employers give women an opportunity to work with minimum pleasure, they are dutiful and intelligent. There have been prominent female CEOs in the past and even the present. However, women face challenges due to their motherly duties, breastfeeding. Some companies, for instance, Deloitte, have a model program that allows employees to adjust their working hours depending on their stage in life. The program solves complex issues, including breastfeeding women to balance work and motherhood. In leadership, women are competitive and assertive, with very slight variations from their male counterparts. Women are bringing superior moral sensibility to the business world.

A recent study shows many Americans believe women are competent just like their male counterparts. Initially, women had a glass ceiling that hindered them from rising to the top jobs (Bennett, n.p.). However, in the recent past, women are slowly rising to the top rank positions. They are no longer restricted to household chores and looking after their families. Women are increasingly acquiring higher education, getting better income, and they have long-term careers. They do not require heavy labour, for they are skilled just like men. In addition, most women are trustworthy and transparent (Sek?ci?ska et al., 365). Their transparency benefits the companies they work for and themselves; it fosters an inclusive environment for them to have more significant opportunities, fulfilling their potential. Women managers promote employee well-being more consistently than their male counterparts. They support the team members with work-life challenges and help them manage their workloads.

In the 21st century, women’s education and income continue to rise. The number of women in college continues to grow steadily. Higher education increases the likelihood of increased earnings. Women in the workforce increased by almost double in this century. Fifty per cent of American women-owned firms and about one million were in the private labour force.; Equal opportunities legislation, the feminist movement, economic knowledge, increased education access, and service sector expansion significantly contributed to the change in women’s labour force. Women are now in occupations previously regarded as male roles. Female employment trends have significantly impacted women’s economic empowerment. According to economists, the growing participation of women in the workforce substantially affects the nation’s GDP, raising it by 21%. Many women own businesses and are entrepreneurs who bring in money for the government.

In conclusion, women have made tremendous progress in the workforce. Women are now more educated and economically empowered than ever before; they earn higher wages for the same work as men and enjoy greater access to better jobs and positions of leadership. They have balanced their family life with their career options. Women in the workforce have significantly contributed to our society’s economic growth. It is essential to realize that despite the progress, there is still work regarding gender equality and equal pay for women and men. Women should continue to break boundaries, push for higher wages and strive for leadership positions. With determination and hard work, women can achieve anything they set their minds to.

Throughout history, the central role of women in society has ensured the stability, progress and long-term development of nations. Globally, women comprise 43 percent of the world’s agricultural labor force – rising to 70 percent in some countries. For instance, across Africa, 80 percent of the agricultural production comes from small farmers, most of whom are rural women. It’s widely accepted that agriculture can be the engine of growth and poverty reduction in developing nations. The 11 biggest hurdles for women’s equality by 2030

There are only seven years left for the world to fulfil the promises made to girls and women in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and a new report by UN Women and United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs highlights the biggest challenges remaining for global gender equality.

The 2023 edition of “Progress on the Sustainable Development Goals: The gender snapshot 2023” tracks gender equality across the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and highlights 11 key roadblocks:

1. Lack of women in leadership

With just 27 per cent of parliamentary seats, 36 per cent of local government seats, and 28 per cent of management positions held by women, there is a lack of diverse perspectives in decision-making processes, hindering comprehensive policy formulation.

2. Poverty and lack of economic opportunities

More than 340 million women and girls are projected to live in extreme poverty by 2030. This represents a staggering 8 per cent of the global female population surviving on less than USD 2.15 a day. Social protections, access to decent work, and other support systems are urgently needed to provide a path out of poverty.

3. Workplace discrimination and inequalities

Only 61 per cent of prime working-age women participate in the labour force, compared to 91 per cent of prime working-age men. This affects both economic growth and societal progress. In 2019, for each dollar men earned in labour income, women earned only 51 cents.

4. An imbalance in unpaid care work

On the current trajectory, the gap between the time spent by women and men on unpaid care will narrow slightly, but by 2050, women globally will still be spending 9.5 per cent more time (2.3 more hours per day) on unpaid care work than men. This persistent gap limits women’s participation in education, employment, and other opportunities.

5. Social norms and cultural practices

Harmful practices such as child marriage and female genital mutilation persist. Globally, one in five young women is married before age 18. The prevalence of child marriage highlights the need for attitudinal shifts and the promotion of legal frameworks that safeguard women and girls’ rights.

6. Inadequate access to education and health care

An estimated 110 million girls and young women may remain out of school by 2030. Stalled progress in reducing maternal mortality and expanding educational opportunities call for targeted interventions to meet the 2030 goals.

7. Food insecurity

Nearly 24 per cent of women and girls are expected to experience moderate to severe food insecurity by 2030. Empowering women in food and agricultural systems by enhancing access to land and resources is vital for ensuring food security and economic growth.

8. Violence against women and girls

Each year, 245 million women and girls experience physical and/or sexual violence by an intimate partner. Older women also face higher rates of poverty and violence than older men.

9. Inadequate funding for gender equality initiatives

Only 4 per cent of total bilateral aid is allocated to gender equality and women's empowerment. The additional investment needed for achieving gender equality by 2030 is estimated at USD 360 billion per year.

10. Legal barriers and poorly enforced legislation

At least 28 countries do not have laws granting women equal rights to enter marriage and initiate divorce, and 67 countries lack laws prohibiting direct and indirect discrimination against women. Where legislation does exist to promote gender equality, effective implementation remains a challenge.

11. Lack of access to clean energy and sanitation

An estimated 341 million women and girls are projected to lack electricity by 2030. Universal access could significantly reduce poverty and improve women’s health.

With just seven years remaining to achieve the 2030 targets, concerted efforts and funding are more necessary than ever. Each step forward, no matter how incremental, brings us closer to a future where gender equality is not just a goal, but a reality.

“The traditional roles of women in society today have improved drastically. Women of the modern age are able to make their own decisions, act and do as they please, and have the marvelous opportunity of getting an education the same as men do. Although the way that women are currently viewed in society is a great deal, more equal than in the past, there will always be a tiny view in the back of our minds, whether we are aware of it or not, that classifies women as inferior to men, as well as authoritative figures in society.

These privileges that come so effortlessly in the lives of most modern women today were not always available for them. A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen tells the struggles of women in the late nineteenth century, when women’s roles and rights are so limited that they are expected to sacrifice their lives for their families and social status. Even though A Doll’s House was written more than a hundred years ago, the problems regarding to gender inequality and women’s limited rights are still relevant today in Muslim countries. The movie Separation by Asghar Farhadi is an obvious example that women in Muslim countries still live under the dictatorship of their husbands and have few inconsiderable rights.

In the play, “A Doll’s House,” author Henrik Ibsen draws a detailed picture of marriage in the nineteenth century by representing realistic portrayals of unique characters, particularly Nora and Torvald. He uses this couple’s life as an example of a typical marriage at that time. In such a patriarchal society, wives were considered as a property of men and their mutual understanding was very low. Therefore the nature of patriarchy creates gender inequality which in the end causes Nora to leave her family and end their marriage. When Ibsen describes Torvald’s personality he emphasizes the position of men and women in the nineteenth century. Torvald considered Nora as an unequal company, which was normal in a patriarchal society. In the conversations between Torvald and Nora, the way he speaks to his wife tells the readers that he has no respect for her. He constantly uses nicknames when talking to his wife such as, “my little singing bird,” “my little skylark,” and “my pretty little pet. ” He seems to view her as a child because he usually includes the word, “little,” every time he talks to her. Torvald likes to take complete control over his wife, direct and judge her. For example, when Torvald tells Nora about the party and demands her to dance there that night, he says “Now you must go and play through tarantella and practice with your tambourine.”(Ibsen 37). He truly perceives her as a child whom he can teach. Torvald believes that because he is educated, he holds the power in the marriage, he tells Nora, “No, no; only lean on me; I will advise and direct you. I should not be a man If this womanly helplessness did not just give you a double attractiveness in my eyes.”(Ibsen 64). Slowly he becomes so selfish as he only knows how to put his opinion on Nora, but not to share her opinion.

Nora has been living double life dealing with the inequality of gender. With her friend Mrs. Linde she acts like, she is completely happy with her “doll-existence.” She does not have problems being called a pet by her husband and even responds lovingly to him. Her actions make her look like a little child who is hiding her fault because she is afraid of punishment. Their marriage looks like the relationship between a father and his child or boss and his employee. Nora maintains her marriage by staying obedient to Torvald. She wants to flatter him when they’re having conversations. Instead of communicating as equals, as husband and wife should, Nora appears to accept her status as inferior in their relationship. In the conversation with Mrs. Linde Nora reveals that she is not just a spoiled and childish wife as most people might have thought. Ibsen represents Nora’s positive personal qualities, such as intelligence and ability to deal with problems to protect her marriage. In fact years ago when Torvald became ill, and he couldn’t take care of his family and even himself, Nora falsified a signature of her father to receive a loan, to save Torvald’s life. This act tells a lot about Nora that she has the courage and will to save her husband and protect her family. What Nora has done is surprising for the reader and it changes first impressions about her. Her bravery and understanding of business about her debt prove that she has potentials outside of being just a wife. Ibsen wants to show the fact that, women are able to stand on their feet, take care of themselves and their families. Unfortunately, the traditional role of women in marriage and the influence of society affected her mind and confidence. She won’t risk progress and share her opinions. Her understanding of marriage in the nineteenth century explains why she lied to Torvald and decided to solve a problem in secret. Many people think that she was afraid of the punishment from her husband, but she just procrastinates time because she doesn’t want to see Torvald’s real self.

Nora’s story is a typical example of the common women’s lives in the nineteenth century. When she was at home with his father, he told her his opinions about life, and she assumed the same opinions. Whenever she disagreed with him, she hid that fact because her father would not have liked it. After getting married, she was transferred from her father to her husband. Like many women of her era, Nora is trained to become a doll that deeply believed in the wrong idea of women’s status in the community. Thus, in order to protect her position, she had to decide to live with this “childish behavior. In this case, Nora seems to be so flexible that she can fit her masked personality into a specific environment. In general, if people are able to adapt to society, then they tend to have a happy and comfortable life. However, the question is why she does not achieve a happy marriage. The answer might be that Nora has not had an opportunity to think differently from what her father, her husband, and society at that time had told her. She used to talk to Mrs. Linde in Act 1, “Free. To be free, absolutely free. To spend time playing with the children. To have a clean, beautiful house, the way Torvald likes it” (Ibsen 13). This quote shows Nora’s poor definition of freedom. Although Nora is a woman of great potential, traditional thought affects her deeply. This idea will of freedom offers her time to be a mother and traditional wife who takes care of a beautiful house, as her husband likes. Based on this knowledge, she has not done anything for herself. Nonetheless, this is not true freedom, which can offer women a chance to achieve real happiness. The true freedom they need is independence from societal pressures. The tragedy is that society did not give them an opportunity to develop their abilities to explore their personalities, goals, or benefits. This freedom also allows them to have an equal role in their family.

While some audiences might blame either Nora or Torvald for their unsuccessful marriage, others might consider their sad ending to be the result of the inequality of gender roles caused by the nature of traditional marriage in older times. On the one hand, the audience might obviously see the mistakes made by both Nora and Torvald since they do not know how to share their lives or try to understand each other. However, if the reader will think deeper to look for the root of their problem, they might be aware that they might be victims of the failed social customs. Based on the principle that they have been educated to achieve a happy marriage, both Nora and Torvald might have done their task well. Unfortunately, while they are trying to figure out their own way to fit into the society’s marriage rule, they begin to live with “masked personalities”; as a result, they become separated from each other. Thus, the major reason for this failed marriage, Ibsen suggests, is the inequality of the rights of men and women in older times. This is a reason why the author provides a great debatable ending, which is that Nora decides to leave her children and her husband to, “discover herself. ” Some people might think that Nora acted as a “selfish woman. ” However, she might have a sense that with her limited rights and knowledge, she might not able to raise her children well; her children might copy their mother’s restricted lifestyle. Therefore, Nora’s choice should be appreciated because I think her action opened a new door to freedom for women in her time and in the future.”

The role of women as members of society changed during the history of mankind. It is a fact that many years ago the system of organization of human society was a matriarchy. Since that time many things changed and nowadays we live in a period of patriarchy. Nevertheless, some experts promise us that things would change very soon for benefit of women. Whether it is true or not, it is not clear yet: the process of social evolution is too slow. For example, many people still think that the most appropriate place for a woman is at home; the most activity for a woman is to look for a woman is housekeeping. In other words, women were destined to become housewives. However, many women see their happy lives as housewives but not independent members of society. Still, the question of women’s social freedom and recognition is not equal to the question of emancipation. Many women are happy being housewives. The most important question is that if housewives are perceived not only just as alive machines devoid of feelings, emotions, and desires, not just as creatures which serve the “holy” mission: gibe birth for future generations of people, but not as personalities in all meanings of this word. The archaic image of a woman as a “heroic mother and happy wife” (Dalla Costa 40) is still too common for our contemporary society.

Of course, the twentieth century became a turning point for both women and men. At last, women got the opportunity to realize their potential beyond the usual environment of women. At last, women gained the possibility to express their creativity and genius. “It seems that there have been few women of genius. There could be since, cut off from the social process, we cannot see on what matters they could exercise their genius” (Dalla Costa 48).

So, what we can observe nowadays? It is very simple: the situation with women and their social role is like stagnation: in order to search for their places in the world and community women begin great careers in order to be recognized as independent members of human society. Still, the attitude to women-bosses is too prejudiced nowadays. If you ask men: “Who would you like to be your boss, a man or a woman?” The question is too rhetoric to have an answer.

The show by the CBC channel The Week the Women Went is another example of outdated traditions which are more than several thousand years old. More than half of women in both Canadian villages’ women Tatamagouche and Hardisty are housewives. They take care of children, house, and family happiness, while men earn money for a living. Still, it is obvious that although men consider that their obligation, to support families financially, is a real challenge, they are glad that their wives come back after such a long vacation, a week. Of course, one may argue that this is the problem of small settlements where nineteenth-century traditions are common. Still, such problems may be observed in megalopolises, just in a bit different aspect.

To make a conclusion, we should admit that the social role of women is still a controversial aspect due to the old traditions which were common guidelines for our community for many centuries. Nevertheless, the statement “all are equal but men are more equal than women” loses its power and ground. Despite the endless negative phenomena of contemporary society, we are on the path of evolution.

Traditional Indian women have started proving themselves more skilled and competent in many professions than men. And, day by day the situation is improving fast by breaking all the barriers of the way.

The Indian government also has played great role in the women empowerment by implementing various rules and regulations. The ancient time trends such as female foeticide, dowry deaths, early child marriage, domestic abuse, child labour, sexual harassment, etc have been banned by the government which has really improved the women status in the society. A woman plays variety of great roles in everyone’s life in various forms by being involved in various relationships. From her birth till her end of life, she plays various roles as a daughter, sister, wife, mother and other relationships. However, her main roles are as a wife and mother. The status of women in urban societies is better however in various rural societies it is still worse because of lack of proper education and education system. A woman give birth to a baby and considered to be only responsible for her baby regarding care, education, job, etc for whole life. She never demands anything in return of her roles instead she performs her roles politely all through the life without any argue.

They live their whole life as general helpers to their husbands and kids. It has been in the usual practise for a woman by birth to handle home and stay unemployed at home. Some women from the society of high living status are keen to get employed like men in the future because they have been lived in the society having higher level of thoughts like that. They are never ill-treated in their family and always promoted to do better in life like men. However women in the backward society, where people only mean to earn food of two times daily, never understand their rights and responsibilities like men. All the differences are just because of the lack of proper education and education system in that area.

Women need to realize their roles towards their society and country together with their roles at home which is possible through the continuous effort, gender equality and women empowerment. People are being more advance in their behaviour and thoughts towards the women rights and empowerment.

There is a famous saying by the Brigham Young that, “You educate a man; you educate a man. Because it is true that, if a man is getting educated and empowered, only he can be benefitted however if a woman is getting educated and empowered, whole family and society can be benefitted.

By nature, women play their all the roles with great responsibilities and have capability to make a healthy family, solid society and powerful country. Lots of efforts have been done however still women are backward and limited to home activities. We need to understand that if an uneducated woman may handle home properly then why not a well educated woman can lead the whole country like men.

Without woman nothing is possible for men, they are basic unit of the society, they make a family, family make a home, home make a society and ultimately societies make a country. So the contribution of a woman is everywhere from taking birth and giving birth to a child to the care for whole life and other areas. All the roles and responsibilities of the women can never be neglected by the societies. Without education and women empowerment no development is possible in the family, society and country. Women know well how to talk, how to behave, how to deal with people of different classes, etc. She knows to handle all the situations because she knows well the basic fundamentals of a good society and play her roles politely as a main contributor in building a strong society.

Earlier, when the lives of women were worse than slaves, women were considered as animals and used as sex toys. It was a sin for women to give birth to a girl baby, either they were killed, buried alive or thrown away by the male head of the family.
