EBSCO Open Dissertations

EBSCO Open Dissertations makes electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs) more accessible to researchers worldwide. The free portal is designed to benefit universities and their students and make ETDs more discoverable.

Increasing Discovery & Usage of ETD Research

EBSCO Open Dissertations is a collaboration between EBSCO and BiblioLabs to increase traffic and discoverability of ETD research. You can join the movement and add your theses and dissertations to the database, making them freely available to researchers everywhere while increasing traffic to your institutional repository.

EBSCO Open Dissertations extends the work started in 2014, when EBSCO and the H.W. Wilson Foundation created American Doctoral Dissertations which contained indexing from the H.W. Wilson print publication, Doctoral Dissertations Accepted by American Universities, 1933-1955. In 2015, the H.W. Wilson Foundation agreed to support the expansion of the scope of the American Doctoral Dissertations database to include records for dissertations and theses from 1955 to the present.

How Does EBSCO Open Dissertations Work?

Your ETD metadata is harvested via OAI and integrated into EBSCO’s platform, where pointers send traffic to your IR.

EBSCO integrates this data into their current subscriber environments and makes the data available on the open web via opendissertations.org .

Why search this literature?

It is crucial for graduate students to search the thesis and dissertation literature to make sure that an idea or hypothesis has not already been tested, explored, and published.  An additional reason to search this literature is that it is rich with ideas and information not found elsewhere.  If graduate students do not continue on as academics or if students that came after them in their programs did not continue their research, this literature may be the end of the line for scholarship on a topic.

ProQuest has published dissertation e-learning modules covering the usefulness of using dissertations as a research source.  See link below:

  • Dissertation eLearning resources from ProQuest Uncover the value of dissertations.

Library Databases

All graduate students should, at minimum, search the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global database (PQDT) to see if the research they are proposing to do has already been done by a student at another institution/university.  RIT dissertations and theses have been included in PQDT since approximately 2006.

  • Proquest Dissertations & Theses Global This link opens in a new window Identifies Ph.D. dissertations from U.S. & Canadian universities since 1861. Abstracts from 1980. Master's theses from 1988. Many with full-text.

Springer Theses

Recognizing Outstanding Ph.D. Research

About this book series

Aims and Scope

The series “Springer Theses” brings together a selection of the very best Ph.D. theses from around the world and across the physical sciences. Nominated and endorsed by two recognized specialists, each published volume has been selected for its scientific excellence and the high impact of its contents for the pertinent field of research. For greater accessibility to non-specialists, the published versions include an extended introduction, as well as a foreword by the student’s supervisor explaining the special relevance of the work for the field. As a whole, the series will provide a valuable resource both for newcomers to the research fields described, and for other scientists seeking detailed background information on special questions. Finally, it provides an accredited documentation of the valuable contributions made by today’s younger generation of scientists.

Theses may be nominated for publication in this series by heads of department at internationally leading universities or institutes and should fulfill all of the following criteria

  • They must be written in good English.
  • The topic should fall within the confines of Chemistry, Physics, Earth Sciences, Engineering and related interdisciplinary fields such as Materials, Nanoscience, Chemical Engineering, Complex Systems and Biophysics.
  • The work reported in the thesis must represent a significant scientific advance.
  • If the thesis includes previously published material, permission to reproduce this must be gained from the respective copyright holder (a maximum 30% of the thesis should be a verbatim reproduction from the author's previous publications).
  • They must have been examined and passed during the 12 months prior to nomination.
  • Each thesis should include a foreword by the supervisor outlining the significance of its content.
  • The theses should have a clearly defined structure including an introduction accessible to new PhD students and scientists not expert in the relevant field.

Think of yourself as a member of a jury, listening to a lawyer who is presenting an opening argument. You'll want to know very soon whether the lawyer believes the accused to be guilty or not guilty, and how the lawyer plans to convince you. Readers of academic essays are like jury members: before they have read too far, they want to know what the essay argues as well as how the writer plans to make the argument. After reading your thesis statement, the reader should think, "This essay is going to try to convince me of something. I'm not convinced yet, but I'm interested to see how I might be."

An effective thesis cannot be answered with a simple "yes" or "no." A thesis is not a topic; nor is it a fact; nor is it an opinion. "Reasons for the fall of communism" is a topic. "Communism collapsed in Eastern Europe" is a fact known by educated people. "The fall of communism is the best thing that ever happened in Europe" is an opinion. (Superlatives like "the best" almost always lead to trouble. It's impossible to weigh every "thing" that ever happened in Europe. And what about the fall of Hitler? Couldn't that be "the best thing"?)

A good thesis has two parts. It should tell what you plan to argue, and it should "telegraph" how you plan to argue—that is, what particular support for your claim is going where in your essay.

Steps in Constructing a Thesis

First, analyze your primary sources.  Look for tension, interest, ambiguity, controversy, and/or complication. Does the author contradict himself or herself? Is a point made and later reversed? What are the deeper implications of the author's argument? Figuring out the why to one or more of these questions, or to related questions, will put you on the path to developing a working thesis. (Without the why, you probably have only come up with an observation—that there are, for instance, many different metaphors in such-and-such a poem—which is not a thesis.)

Once you have a working thesis, write it down.  There is nothing as frustrating as hitting on a great idea for a thesis, then forgetting it when you lose concentration. And by writing down your thesis you will be forced to think of it clearly, logically, and concisely. You probably will not be able to write out a final-draft version of your thesis the first time you try, but you'll get yourself on the right track by writing down what you have.

Keep your thesis prominent in your introduction.  A good, standard place for your thesis statement is at the end of an introductory paragraph, especially in shorter (5-15 page) essays. Readers are used to finding theses there, so they automatically pay more attention when they read the last sentence of your introduction. Although this is not required in all academic essays, it is a good rule of thumb.

Anticipate the counterarguments.  Once you have a working thesis, you should think about what might be said against it. This will help you to refine your thesis, and it will also make you think of the arguments that you'll need to refute later on in your essay. (Every argument has a counterargument. If yours doesn't, then it's not an argument—it may be a fact, or an opinion, but it is not an argument.)

This statement is on its way to being a thesis. However, it is too easy to imagine possible counterarguments. For example, a political observer might believe that Dukakis lost because he suffered from a "soft-on-crime" image. If you complicate your thesis by anticipating the counterargument, you'll strengthen your argument, as shown in the sentence below.

Some Caveats and Some Examples

A thesis is never a question.  Readers of academic essays expect to have questions discussed, explored, or even answered. A question ("Why did communism collapse in Eastern Europe?") is not an argument, and without an argument, a thesis is dead in the water.

A thesis is never a list.  "For political, economic, social and cultural reasons, communism collapsed in Eastern Europe" does a good job of "telegraphing" the reader what to expect in the essay—a section about political reasons, a section about economic reasons, a section about social reasons, and a section about cultural reasons. However, political, economic, social and cultural reasons are pretty much the only possible reasons why communism could collapse. This sentence lacks tension and doesn't advance an argument. Everyone knows that politics, economics, and culture are important.

A thesis should never be vague, combative or confrontational.  An ineffective thesis would be, "Communism collapsed in Eastern Europe because communism is evil." This is hard to argue (evil from whose perspective? what does evil mean?) and it is likely to mark you as moralistic and judgmental rather than rational and thorough. It also may spark a defensive reaction from readers sympathetic to communism. If readers strongly disagree with you right off the bat, they may stop reading.

An effective thesis has a definable, arguable claim.  "While cultural forces contributed to the collapse of communism in Eastern Europe, the disintegration of economies played the key role in driving its decline" is an effective thesis sentence that "telegraphs," so that the reader expects the essay to have a section about cultural forces and another about the disintegration of economies. This thesis makes a definite, arguable claim: that the disintegration of economies played a more important role than cultural forces in defeating communism in Eastern Europe. The reader would react to this statement by thinking, "Perhaps what the author says is true, but I am not convinced. I want to read further to see how the author argues this claim."

A thesis should be as clear and specific as possible.  Avoid overused, general terms and abstractions. For example, "Communism collapsed in Eastern Europe because of the ruling elite's inability to address the economic concerns of the people" is more powerful than "Communism collapsed due to societal discontent."

What is a thesis?

What is a dissertation, getting started, staying on track.

A thesis is a long-term project that you work on over the course of a semester or a year. Theses have a very wide variety of styles and content, so we encourage you to look at prior examples and work closely with faculty to develop yours.

Before you begin, make sure that you are familiar with the dissertation genre—what it is for and what it looks like.

Generally speaking, a dissertation’s purpose is to prove that you have the expertise necessary to fulfill your doctoral-degree requirements by showing depth of knowledge and independent thinking.

The form of a dissertation may vary by discipline. Be sure to follow the specific guidelines of your department.

  • PhD This site directs candidates to the GSAS website about dissertations , with links to checklists,  planning, formatting, acknowledgments, submission, and publishing options. There is also a link to guidelines for the prospectus . Consult with your committee chair about specific requirements and standards for your dissertation.
  • DDES This document covers planning, patent filing, submission guidelines, publishing options, formatting guidelines, sample pages, citation guidelines, and a list of common errors to avoid. There is also a link to guidelines for the prospectus .
  • Scholarly Pursuits (GSAS) This searchable booklet from Harvard GSAS is a comprehensive guide to writing dissertations, dissertation-fellowship applications, academic journal articles, and academic job documents.

Finding an original topic can be a daunting and overwhelming task. These key concepts can help you focus and save time.

Finding a topic for your thesis or dissertation should start with a research question that excites or at least interests you. A rigorous, engaging, and original project will require continuous curiosity about your topic, about your own thoughts on the topic, and about what other scholars have said on your topic. Avoid getting boxed in by thinking you know what you want to say from the beginning; let your research and your writing evolve as you explore and fine-tune your focus through constant questioning and exploration.

Get a sense of the broader picture before you narrow your focus and attempt to frame an argument. Read, skim, and otherwise familiarize yourself with what other scholars have done in areas related to your proposed topic. Briefly explore topics tangentially related to yours to broaden your perspective and increase your chance of finding a unique angle to pursue.

Critical Reading

Critical reading is the opposite of passive reading. Instead of merely reading for information to absorb, critical reading also involves careful, sustained thinking about what you are reading. This process may include analyzing the author’s motives and assumptions, asking what might be left out of the discussion, considering what you agree with or disagree with in the author’s statements and why you agree or disagree, and exploring connections or contradictions between scholarly arguments. Here is a resource to help hone your critical-reading skills:

http://writing.umn.edu/sws/assets/pdf/quicktips/criticalread.pdf

Conversation

Your thesis or dissertation will incorporate some ideas from other scholars whose work you researched. By reading critically and following your curiosity, you will develop your own ideas and claims, and these contributions are the core of your project. You will also acknowledge the work of scholars who came before you, and you must accurately and fairly attribute this work and define your place within the larger discussion. Make sure that you know how to quote, summarize, paraphrase ,  integrate , and cite secondary sources to avoid plagiarism and to show the depth and breadth of your knowledge.

A thesis is a long-term, large project that involves both research and writing; it is easy to lose focus, motivation, and momentum. Here are suggestions for achieving the result you want in the time you have.

The dissertation is probably the largest project you have undertaken, and a lot of the work is self-directed. The project can feel daunting or even overwhelming unless you break it down into manageable pieces and create a timeline for completing each smaller task. Be realistic but also challenge yourself, and be forgiving of yourself if you miss a self-imposed deadline here and there.

Your program will also have specific deadlines for different requirements, including establishing a committee, submitting a prospectus, completing the dissertation, defending the dissertation, and submitting your work. Consult your department’s website for these dates and incorporate them into the timeline for your work.

Accountability

Sometimes self-imposed deadlines do not feel urgent unless there is accountability to someone beyond yourself. To increase your motivation to complete tasks on schedule, set dates with your committee chair to submit pre-determined pieces of a chapter. You can also arrange with a fellow doctoral student to check on each other’s progress. Research and writing can be lonely, so it is also nice to share that journey with someone and support each other through the process.

Common Pitfalls

The most common challenges for students writing a dissertation are writer’s block, information-overload, and the compulsion to keep researching forever.

There are many strategies for avoiding writer’s block, such as freewriting, outlining, taking a walk, starting in the middle, and creating an ideal work environment for your particular learning style. Pay attention to what helps you and try different things until you find what works.

Efficient researching techniques are essential to avoiding information-overload. Here are a couple of resources about strategies for finding sources and quickly obtaining essential information from them.

https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/subject_specific_writing/writing_in_literature/writing_in_literature_detailed_discussion/reading_criticism.html

https://students.dartmouth.edu/academic-skills/learning-resources/learning-strategies/reading-techniques

Finally, remember that there is always more to learn and your dissertation cannot incorporate everything. Follow your curiosity but also set limits on the scope of your work. It helps to create a folder entitled “future projects” for topics and sources that interest you but that do not fit neatly into the dissertation. Also remember that future scholars will build off of your work, so leave something for them to do.

Browsing through theses and dissertations of the past can help to get a sense of your options and gain inspiration but be careful to use current guidelines and refer to your committee instead of relying on these examples for form or formatting.

Someone reads at the beach. (Chris Hackett/Getty Images)

Need a book to curl up with on the beach or to throw in your carry-on for a long flight this summer? NPR’s staffers picked some of the best books out in 2024 so far.

NPR's "Book of the Day" host Andrew Limbong breaks down that long list to offer some curated favorites.

NPR’s best books of 2024

  • “ Victim ” by Andrew Boryga

“It's this really funny exploration of lying, but it's also a kind of funny parody about like what's incentivized in the writing industry,” Limbong says. “For a debut writer, I think it's a really strong first impression.”

  • “ Birding with Benefits ” by Sarah T. Dubb

“It's about a newly divorced woman named Celeste who meets an expert birder named John,” Limbong says. “And by the virtue of the rom-com gods, Celeste has to be a birding partner to John.”

  • “ Say You’ll Be Mine ” by Naina Kumar

“It's about, uh, two Indian Americans whose parents are pressing them to get married and to get pushed into this arranged marriage and they decide, ‘You know what? Let's just make them happy,’ Limbong says. “You got to make your folks happy.”

  • “ All Fours ” by Miranda July

“It's an interesting and funny look at aging and desire,” Limbong says. “It's kind of about this transitional time in life.”

  • “ James ” by Percival Everett

“It's a retelling of the ‘Huck Finn’ story from James's point of view,” Limbong says. “That's Huck's friend who is escaping slavery, and the book toys with history and language in a really funny way.”

  • “ Relinquished: The Politics of Adoption and the Privilege of American Motherhood ” by Gretchen Sisson

“A few years back when the Supreme Court was hearing arguments on the Dobbs case, which eventually overturned Roe v. Wade, Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett suggested that adoption could relieve a person of their parental duties and responsibilities the same way an abortion would,” Limbong says. “The book takes this really close look at what that really means for a woman to be pregnant, have the baby and then give it away for adoption.”

  • “ A Very Private School: A Memoir ” by Charles Spencer

“It's about his time in the 1970s as a boy where he really experienced just an unbelievable amount of abuse and cruelty,” Limbong says. “I do think at the end of the day, it is a book about taking charge of your own narrative.”

  • “ The Lucky Ones: A Memoir ” by Zara Chowdhary

“It's about a train burning in India in 2002,” host Deepa Fernandes says. “This is the memoir of a teenage Muslim girl living through the terror.”

James Perkins Mastromarino  and produced and edited this interview for broadcast with  Todd Mundt . Grace Griffin adapted it for the web.

In a close-up illustration of his head, a subdued, googly-eyed green dragon with flaring nostrils stares wistfully at a long-beaked, rust-colored phoenix and lets out an unusually tiny “roar …” The phoenix stares back sympathetically.

By Elisabeth Egan

Elisabeth Egan is a writer and editor at the Book Review. She has worked in the world of publishing for 30 years.

There are two kinds of story time: the one where listeners’ heads drop sleepily onto your shoulders and the one that feels, refreshingly, like a table read for the theater of the absurd. The former is sweet and cozy. The latter sparks audience participation and requests for an encore. If you’re going for this vibe and in the mood to strut your stuff as a raconteur, start here.

The Gruffalo, by Julia Donaldson; illustrated by Axel Scheffler

Donaldson’s trusty dynamo is like a scoop of fine vanilla ice cream: enjoyable on its own, but dial up the extras and you have a hot fudge sundae (of sorts). Indeed, “The Gruffalo” boasts a buffet of crowd-pleasing features, including an uncomplicated rhyme scheme (wood/good, mouse/house), repeating lines (the better to inspire group participation) and a wide range of voices (mouse, fox, owl, snake and, yes, gruffalo). Suspense is just an added bonus from the team who brought us “Room on the Broom.”

Hear Imelda Staunton Read It

Looking for a jumbie, by tracey baptiste; illustrated by amber ren.

What are jumbies? you might wonder. They’re creatures from Caribbean stories, akin to fairies or trolls, Baptiste tells us in her introduction. “Some live in the forest,” she writes. “Some live in the water. Some soar up into the sky.” In this fantastical story, a little girl named Naya sets out to meet some jumbies for herself. Conveniently for the person turning the pages, she crosses paths with a bevy of creatures, each with the potential for a different voice — high and squeaky, deep and growly, it’s your call. My personal favorite is a jumbie of the douen variety, known for its small stature, backward feet and big mouth. Imagine Dobby, of “Harry Potter” fame.

Since I became science fiction columnist for New Scientist , I have had to think a lot about what qualifies as sci-fi. Very often, a book could actually be classified as fantasy, which is outside my remit. More and more, I find myself agreeing with the writer Damon Knight when he said: “Science fiction is what I point to [when I say] ‘That’s science fiction’.”

Anyway, for this holiday reading special, I present my list of some of the year’s best sci-fi so far. All that binds these incredibly diverse books…

Driver who plowed into NYC Fourth of July gathering in suspected DUI was a substance abuse counselor and author

The driver of a pickup truck that fatally plowed into a group of revelers celebrating the Fourth of July at a New York City park Thursday evening was a substance abuse counselor who penned a book on helping others overcome addiction, according to law enforcement sources

Daniel C. Hyden, 44, of Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, was identified Friday as the driver who struck revelers at Manhattan's Corlears Hook Park in Manhattan. Three people were killed and eight others were injured, one critically.

New York Police Chief of Department Jeff Maddrey said Thursday responding officers “did smell some alcohol, but we are still in the process of doing testing.”

Hyden was charged Friday with eight counts of assault - recklessly causing serious injury with a weapon, aggravated vehicular homicide killing more than one person, driving while intoxicated, and aggravated unlicensed operator of a vehicle, New York City police said.

Hyden had worked a substance abuse counselor and was most recently working for residential treatment programs in Manhattan, according to his Linkedin profile.

In 2020 he published a book entitled “The Sober Addict: A Guide on How to Be Functional With the Dysfunctional Disease of Addiction,” law enforcement sources told NBC New York . His biography on Amazon described him as having a mission to “use his lifelong experience with addiction to teach addicts how to save themselves and achieve long-term recovery.”

It's not immediately clear if he has an attorney.

Lucille Pinkney, 59, and Hernan Pinkney, 38, died in the collision, authorities said. The third victim was not named, but identified as a woman.

Of the injured, one person was hospitalized in critical condition, and seven others suffered minor injuries, including an 11-year-old boy, police said.

When first responders arrived to the scene they found the pickup truck “on top of four victims,” Fire Department Assistant Chief of Operations Michael Meyers said in a news conference Thursday. Locals at the park removed the driver and made sure he didn't leave the scene until first responders arrived, officials said.

Hyden was arrested at the scene and treated for head and facial lacerations.

Police said he was not wearing seatbelt and he had a suspended license. He refused all testing as police noted there was “suspicion of impairment.”

Why web3 seo matters: embracing the future of search.

Hinza Asif is president of Asia Web3 Alliance Japan and CEO of NFTStudio24, emphasizing media's importance, Web3 and blockchain.

Web3.0, also known as the decentralized internet, is changing how businesses operate through blockchain and decentralized networks. As Web3 advances, it's important to understand how Google can rank Web3 websites.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is vital for the success of Web3 ventures. While often associated with Web2 websites, SEO is equally essential for Web3 companies, decentralized apps (dApps) and blockchain platforms because, in a competitive digital marketplace, visibility is crucial. But before you can drive organic traffic, you must understand exactly what Web3 SEO is and how you can utilize it to boost online visibility.

In this article, I will work to answer the following questions:

• Does Google rank Web3 websites?

• How important is SEO in the visibility of Web3 websites?

• How can Google ranking factors help optimize Web3 websites?

‘The Boys’ Crossed A Line, And It Wasn’t ‘Hilarious’ At All

A bill gates-recommended read is the bestselling book of the year so far, bon jovi’s new album marks a new low point for the band, web3 overview.

Web3 encompasses blockchain technology, decentralized networks and cryptographic protocols. It can create a more open, secure and user-centric digital environment with unique features. But let's take a closer look at some of the terminology and what each term means.

Decentralization: Web3 is built on decentralized networks, distributing power among a network of nodes rather than a few centralized entities.

Blockchain Technology: Blockchain provides a distributed ledger that records and verifies transactions in a way that many believe to be more transparent and secure.

Smart Contracts: Smart Contracts are integral to Web3 businesses, serving as self-executing agreements on the blockchain and foundational components for decentralized applications (dApps). Typically, developers rely on centralized cloud providers to host frontends, which are the only elements searchable by search engines, representing a compromise. However, some blockchain smart contracts, such as those on Internet Computer Protocol, can be directly indexed by all major search engines without the need for frontends on public clouds. This capability underscores the decentralized nature of Web3, where smart contracts can achieve greater accessibility and visibility across the internet, contributing to a more open and transparent digital ecosystem.

Peer-to-peer Networks: Web3 uses peer-to-peer networks for direct user interactions, fostering decentralized communication and data sharing.

Cryptography: Web3 employs cryptography for authentication, encryption and digital signatures that allow users to control their digital assets through private and public keys.

Web3 companies can benefit from SEO best practices to gain visibility, attract users and achieve sustainable growth. However, SEO strategies for Web3 companies may differ from Web2 websites due to the decentralized nature of Web3 technologies.

Web3 And Google Ranking Factors

Google uses several factors to rank websites, including high-quality content, page experience and links. Web3 websites can use SEO techniques as well to optimize for better ranking such as doing niche-specific keyword research, improving the on-page experience and incorporating links to trusted sources.

In particular, I recommend that web3 websites focus on three main points:

• Ensure that content conveys direct information about the decentralized nature of the platform and the benefits it offers.

• Create a seamless user experience, as users may be less aware of decentralized platforms and may require additional guidance.

• Build relationships with other Web3 companies and decentralized projects to obtain backlinks. Moreover, Web3 entities can collaborate with influencers and thought leaders in the Web3 space to gain backlinks.

In general, Web3 websites should also conduct regular SEO audits, monitor their website performance and continuously update their content to ensure its relevance.

Impact Of Web3 Website Speed On SEO

Once you've attended to those initial aspects, it's a good idea to do a deeper dive on website speed because the speed of a Web3 website can also significantly impact SEO performance. A low-maintenance website can increase the bounce rate, lower conversions and disturb the SEO ranking.

To improve website speed and enhance SEO performance, Web3 projects can focus on the following aspects:

Website Performance Optimization: Optimize images, videos and other media for lightning-fast loading times and optimal performance.

Mobile-Friendliness: Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, responsive and offer a smooth browsing experience across different devices.

Structured Data Markup: Implement structured data markup to help search engines understand the context and relevance of your content.

XML Sitemaps: Create XML sitemaps to assist search engines in indexing and ranking your content.

Canonical URLs: Use canonical URLs to prevent duplicate content and improve the search engine's understanding of your content,

Caching and Compression: Enable caching and compression to decrease the number of requests and the size of files.

Content Delivery Network: Utilize a CDN to distribute content across servers globally, reducing latency.

Regular Monitoring: Continuously monitor site speed using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights and address any identified issues promptly.

By focusing on these aspects, Web3 projects can improve their website speed, enhance their SEO performance and attract more organic traffic, which is crucial for driving growth and success in the Web3 ecosystem.

The Growing Relationship Between Google And Web3

Web3 is a hotly discussed topic globally, with new Web3 projects emerging from business tycoons. Additionally, Web3 and blockchain events worldwide attract thousands who are eager to learn about new technologies. We must acknowledge that sooner or later, Google will recognize Web3 websites and develop an infrastructure to rank them.

In February 2022, Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google's parent company Alphabet Inc., revealed that he closely monitors the blockchain industry and the Web3 universe. He finds both “exciting” and said that his firm is focused on moving in that direction.

Web3 companies are also using Google Cloud-managed services to build more robust digital assets and customized experiences for their growing user communities. In the past year, I know of several web3 companies that have partnered with Google Cloud for better visibility and reach and to help clients with more secure services. A few of the big names include Aptos, NEAR, Chainlink and Dapper Labs. Google has even built an online resource center for Google Cloud and Web3.

In conclusion, niche keywords, quality content and strong backlinks can improve rankings. I encourage you to take a closer look at your own websites and consider how best practices may be able to help you improve your ranking.
