حکیم الامت دانائے راز،مرد مومن، مفکر ملت علامہ اقبال رحمتہ اللہ علیہ نے اپنی قومی شاعری اور ایمان افروز پیغامات سے مسلمانان عالم کو بالعموم اور مسلمانان ہند کو بالخصوص خواب غفلت سے جگایا۔ آپ ۹ نومبر ۱۸۷۷ کو شہر سیالکوٹ میں پیدا ہوئے۔آپ کا آبائی وطن کشمیر تھا۔آپ کے والد بزرگوار شیخ نور محمد نہایت پرہیزگار اور متقی انسان تھے۔ابتدائی تعلیم ایک دینی مدرسہ میں پائی اور میٹرک پاس کرنے کے بعد مرے کالج سیالکوٹ میں داخلہ لیا یہیں سے ایف- اے۔ پاس کیا۔اس کے بعد بی-اے۔ اور ایم-اے۔ گورنمنٹ کالج لاہور سے امتیازی حیثیت سے پاس کیا اور پنجاب بھر میں اول آئے۔

میٹرک پاس کرنے کے بعد جب‏ اقبال سیالکوٹ کے مشن اسکول میں پہنچے تو یہاں پر ان کو مولوی میر حسن جیسے فاضل اور شفیق اُستاد مل گئے جنہوں نے ان کے جوہر قابل کو پہچان لیا۔اُنہوں نے اِن کی ذہنی تربیت فرمائی اور ان میں اِسلامی ذوق پیدا کیا۔

گورنمنٹ کالج لاہور میں آپ کو پروفیسرآرنلڈ جسیی شخصیت کے ساتھ کچھ وقت گزارنے کا موقع ملا جنہوں نے اقبال میں تجسُس اور تحقیق کی صِفات کو اجاگر کر دیا۔یہاں سے فارغ التحصیل ہوکر آپ اورینٹل کالج اور پھر گورنمنٹ کالج لاہور میں پروفیسر رہے۔اس کے بعد ۱۹۰۵ء میں آپ قانون کی اعلیٰ تعلیم کے لئے اِنگلستان چلے گئے اور کیمبرِج یونیورسٹی سے (‏bar at law) بارایٹ لاء کی سند حاصل کی۔ فلسفہ ایران میں ایک کتاب لکھ کر آپ نے جرمنی کی میونخ یونیورسٹی سے پی- ایچ- ڈی کی ڈگری حاصل کی اور ۱۹۰۸ء میں آپ وطن واپس آگئے۔

دوستو اور ساتھیو! علامہ اقبال کو اپنے شفیق استاد سر اور آرنلڈ سے بہت محبت تھی۔قیام انگلستان کے دوران آپ نے اِرادہ کر لیا تھا کہ شعر نہیں کہیں گے مگر آرنلڈ کے کہنے پر آپ نے اس ارادے کو ترک کردیا اور پھر سے شعر کہنے لگے۔ جب آپ کو آرنلڈ کے انتقال کی خبر ملی تو بے اختیار ‏آپ کی زبان سے نکلا ”آہ آج اقبال اپنی عظیم دولت اور مشفق استاد سے محروم ہوگیا“۔

علامہ صاحب انجمن حمایت اسلام لاہور کے صدر بھی منتخب ہوئے اور انجمن کے اداروں کو نہایت خوبی سے چلاتے رہے۔ بعد میں پنجاب لیجسلیٹو کونسل کے ممبر چنے گئے۔ پھر آپ پنجاب مسلم لیگ کے صدر منتخب کر لیے گئے۔ شاعری کی وجہ سے آپ کی شہرت ہندوستان کی سرحدوں کو عبور کرکے تمام دنیا میں پھیل گئی۔ قوم نے آپکو ترجمان حقیقت, شاعر مشرق اور حکیم الاُمت کے خطابات سے نوازا۔ حکومت برطانیہ نے آپ کو “سر” کا خطاب دیا۔ ریاست بھوپال کی طرف سے آپ کے لئے ۵۰۰ روپے ماہوار وظیفہ مقرر ہوا۔

عزیز ساتھیو! علامہ اقبال کی ساری کی ساری شاعری میں قوم کے لئے تڑپ موجود ہے۔ آپ کا ہر شعر ملت کے لیے اصلاح کا پیغام دیتا ہے۔کبھی وہ اسلاف کے کارنامے یاد دلا کر مسلمانوں کا لہو گرماتے ہیں کبھی افلاک پر کمند ڈالنے کو کہہ کر نوجوانوں کو دعوت عمل دیتے ہیں۔اویس قرنی رحمتہ اللہ علیہ کا قصہ چھیڑ کر حب رسول پاک صلی اللہ وسلم کی ترغیب دیتے ہیں۔آپ سچے عاشقان رسول ﷺ میں سے تھے۔ حضور ﷺ کے عشق میں ان کی آنکھیں ہمیشہ پر نم رہتی تھیں۔علامہ صاحب نے خودی پر بڑا زور دیا ہے ان کی مراد تکبر یا خود نمائی نہیں ہے بلکہ وہ قوم کی خودشناسی سکھانا چاہتے تھے اور اس سے یہ احساس دلانا مقصود تھا کہ تمھارے اندر قدرت نے جو جو ہر پنہاں رکھے ہیں ان کو کام میں لا کر اپنے آپ کو اس قابل بناؤ کہ خدا تعالیٰ کے منتخب بندوں میں شامل ہوجاؤ اور عملی طور پر اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس قدر مقرب بن جاؤ کہ اسکی رحمتیں تم پر برسنے کے لیے مجبور ہوجائیں۔ آپ فرماتے ہیں؀

علامہ اقبال کا تمام کلام اسلامی نظریات کے عین مطابق ہے۔آپکا سارا کلام احکام الہٰی اور اسوہِ حسنہٰ کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ اگر ہم ان کے صرف ایک ہی شعر پر عمل پیرا ہوجائیں تو کامیاب مسلمان بن سکتے ہیں اور دین و دنیا کی دولت ہمارے قدموں تلے آسکتی ہے۔ آپ نے ۲۱ اپریل ۱۹۳۸ کو لاہور میں رحلت فرمائی اور شاہی مسجد کی سیڑھیوں کے قریب دفن ہوئے۔ عام دنوں میں بھی لوگ ان کے مزار پر فاتحہ خوانی کے لئے جاتے ہیں مگر خاص مواقع مثلاً یوم اقبال پر بہت زیادہ لوگ حاضری کے لیے جاتے ہیں۔ علامہ اقبال صرف شاعر ہی نہیں تھے وہ ایک فلسفی بھی تھے اور ہمدرد رہنما بھی تھے۔ وہ قوم کی اصلاح کرکے عظیم قوم بنانا چاہتے تھے۔ اس مقصد کے لئے انہوں نے اپنی بات کو شاعری کے ذریعے پیش کیا۔ چنانچہ ان کی شاعری شاعری نہیں اس قوم کے لئے پیغام ہے۔

The Enchanting World of Urdu Words

There is hardly any language that does not borrow words from another language. Regardless of the trajectory that history follows, language and words, like genuine trustees, lead us towards the true story of the past. Linguists have long been following the traces of words which have voyaged around the world and have successfully camouflaged themselves in other languages. In Urdu, there is a huge treasure of such words which are known as ‘DaKHiil’. In fact, there is another treasure which is even bigger than that of DaKHiil words. Interestingly, these new words have appeared in new garbs with variations in meaning, pronunciation, and spelling. A lot of these words are such where a root word combines with the grammatical rules of another language. This results in the appearance of a new word. For example, the Persian word “rang” was combined with the Arabic grammatical root “t” to make the Urdu word “Rangat”. Similarly, the Arabic pluralization when combined with the Persian ‘Dih’, gave birth to ‘Dehaat’. In the same manner, there are countless other examples. Probing them further could be quite addictive. So, let us get together and witness the ever-changing colorful world of Urdu words.

Nastaleeq is a beautiful script in which Urdu is written. This was designed in Iran in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. While ‘naskh’ is the script in which Arabic is usually written ‘taaleeq’ is a Persian script. Both of them were merged to become Nastaleeq. It is interesting to note that in Urdu the word Nastaleeq is also used for a cultured, well mannered and refined person.

The word ‘Ustaad’ entered the Urdu language from Persian. Its journey began with the Zoroastrian religious text Avesta which was written in the ancient Iranian language but there were not enough people who could understand it. The one who understood Avesta was known as ‘Avesta-ved’. The word ‘ved’ is still used for ‘Hakim (wise)’, or ‘Daanaa (learned)’.

Gradually, the word first became ‘Avesta-ved’, and then morphed into ‘Ustaad’. Originally, the word was used only for those who understood religious texts but later it became an appellation for one who taught and tutored. Nowadays, a master of an art, or a skill, is referred to as Ustaad too. The word has become an inseparable part of the names of the virtuosos of Indian classical music. Today, in everyday speech, the word has taken a new meaning and now being artful has come to be known as Ustaadi dikhaana. Endearingly, friends too address each other as Ustaad these days. In Indian films, characters of all sorts are depicted as Ustads, and films named ‘Ustadon ke Ustad’, ‘Do Ustad’, and ‘Ustadi, Ustad Ki’ also exemplify this.

Shagird hain hum ‘Meer’ se ustaad ke ‘Rasikh’ Ustaadon ka ustaad hai ustaad hamara

The word ‘Shah’ or king is closely related to the horns of animals. In Persian, the word ‘ShaaKH’ is also used in the sense of horns, while primarily it means the branch of a tree, or anything that stems forth from something else.

Gar yahi rona hai aage dekhiye kya gul khile Shaakh phutegi Khudaaya halqa-e-zanjir mein

But the relationship between the word ‘ShaaKH’ meaning horns, and ‘Shaah’ meaning King began in the days when man lived in the forests, hunted animals to satiate his hunger, and rejoiced by adorning animal horns over his head. In ancient Iran, it was customary for local chiefs to wear ‘ShaaKH’ or horn on their heads. Then people began addressing these chiefs as Shaakh, and gradually, the word morphed into Shaah. It could also be possible that the custom of wearing crown sprung from this very ritual. Whatever the case might be, the universe of words is really fascinating.

In Urdu, a manuscript or an initial draft of a book is called ‘Musawwada’ or ‘Masauda’- a word strangely related to the color black. But how? In Arabic, the color black is called ‘Aswad’. Since in those days, black ink (Siyahi) made from a lamp’s collyrium, was used in writing, the word came to be used in the sense of writing. The word Musawwada, meaning ‘blackened’, came to be used in the sense of writing. Even in everyday speech the phrase ‘Kaghaz Kalaa Karnaa’ is common. But the color black is also considered a symbol of evil, misfortune, and mourning, and can be found in Urdu poetry in countless idiomatic expressions. Thus, the archaic Persian word Raushnaaii, or writing ink, too, finds its usage in Urdu.

Yaqeen hai ki andhera faqat andhera hai Siyahi kali sahi raushnai hai phir bhi

In Urdu, the word ‘Daftar’ means an office or a work-place. This word has entered the Urdu language from Persian, in which it means an account book; a register; a roll. These very meanings are found in the archaic Arabic language too. The word is found in its original meaning in classical Urdu poetry and prose as well. Thus, we have our old Urdu proverb, ‘Shikayato.n kaa Daftar Kholna’, or, to lay open the register of complaints. Gradually, the place where these account-books were kept came to be known as Daftar, and, people, in all directions, started frequenting it every day. Linguists opine that the word has been adapted from the Greek word ‘Dipthera’, which means leather, upon which people in that age used to write.

‘Jalsa’ and ‘Juluus’ are two of the most commonly used Urdu words. Their roots lie in the three-letter Arabic word ‘Jals’.

In Arabic, Juluus (Procession) means to sit, but as this word entered Urdu it got up and started walking, and along with it many people started walking and chanting slogans. But the word Jalsa (meeting) became prevalent in Urdu in its original Arabic meaning- for people to gather and congregate. Interestingly, the word ‘Jalsa’ can also be found in other regional Indian languages such as Gujarati, Marathi, and Tamil where it is used in the sense of merriment and entertainment, and Bengali in the sense of celebration.

Jalsa also happens to be the name of a famous Bengali TV channel. Satyajit Ray’s directorial venture, which was based on a famous Bengali novel, was also named “Jalsa Ghar”.

The word ‘Tamasha’, so to speak, has entered the Urdu language from Persian, but its root is the Arabic ‘Tamashi’, which means ‘for people to come together and walk on foot’. Since people usually go for leisurely walks together the word came to be used in the sense of amusement and diversion in everyday speech. In Persian, the word became ‘Tamasha’ and from there it was incorporated into Urdu with its poetic traditions. In our poetry, ‘Tamasha’ has been used in two senses; one, a state of commotion (Hangama); two, a spectacle seen by people with immense surprise and interest. Ghalib’s famous couplet, makes the fullest use of this double-edged word:

Jama karte ho kyun raqeebon ko Ik tamasha hua gila na hua

The famous Marathi folk theatre in which songs and dances are performed is also called ‘Tamasha’. And, in Tamil, ‘Tamash’ means ‘humor, or, amusement’. In Malayalam, the word ‘Tamaasa’ is used for joking or jesting.

The word ‘Kah-Kashaa.n’, or, Milky-Way, has been used quite beautifully in Urdu poetry. This famous couplet is etched in everybody’s memory:

Inhin pattharon pe chal kar agar aa sako to aao Mire ghar ke raaste mein koi kahkashan nahin hai

Interestingly, this word, which is also written as ‘Kaah-Kashaa.n’, literally means to pull dry grass on the soil. This word is made of two Persian words, ‘kah’ meaning dried grass, and ‘kashan’ meaning pulling. Similar to the marks left by a bundle of dried grass dragged on wet ground is the cluster of stars that appear in the night sky, consequently giving it the name ‘Kah-Kashan’. In Hindi, it is known as ‘Aakash-Ganga’, a word which flashes so very often in Urdu poetry.

In Urdu, the word ‘Mallah’ means a sailor or mariner. The word finds its roots in the Arabic word ‘Milh’, meaning salt. Since seawater is salty, those who made salt from the sea were originally called Mallah. Later, those who frequented the sea came to be known as Mallah. And now, boatmen of sweet-water lakes are referred to as Mallah, too. The word ‘Malahat’, quite common in Urdu literature, is also related to ‘Milh’, it means being salty, sallow, or beautiful. Poets have brought out different shades of this word in various couplets.

Another word which is very common in Urdu poetry, and related to boat and water voyage, is NaaKhuda’. It is a combination of two words ‘Naav (boat)’ and ‘Khuda (Lord)’, and comes from Persian which means the Lord of the boat or captain.

Tumhin to ho jise kahti hai nakhudaa duniyaa Bacha sako to bacha lo ki doobta hoon main

The story of the journey of words is very strange. Where a word starts and how it reaches us is really interesting and enlightening. The ancient Indian army consisted of infantry, cavalry, elephants and chariots. That is why it was called Chatrunga in Sanskrit. ‘Ang’ means organ and ‘Chatur’ means four. When a game was invented based of two armies, it was called ‘Chatrang’. The word entered in the form of ‘shatrang ‘ in Persian and was transferred from Persian to Arabic as ‘shatranj’ and the same name is being used in Urdu. Its name in Europe was derived from one of its pawns, shah or sheh ( chess)and how it changed its form in different European languages is yet another story.

The square-clad cloth used for playing chess is called ‘Bisaat’ in Urdu. You will find it interesting to know that in traditional north Indian families women used to make bed spreads in the style of two colored square boxes of shatranj , which were called shatranji . Traditionally, squares of red ‘tool’ cloth and ‘gazi’ i.e. white cotton cloth were sewn together to make a beautiful bed spreads or deewan cover.

Respected sir and my compatriots!

Our homeland Pakistan is not like other lands of the world, which are inherited to its citizens but Pakistan is the country, for which Muslims of Combined India served their bones as bricks and their blood as water, to set the bases for Pakistan.

Only those can judge the true value of this inestimable creation who himself has participated in building this country, and sacrificed his wife, children, sisters, brothers and all his blood relations. To achieve this sacred land, millions of Muslims met martyrdom. Countless children were killed in front of their mothers and lots of families were burnt inside their houses. Many virtuous women jumped into wells and canals and costed their lives just to build up Pakistan. Countless children got orphaned and missed their parents for whole their lives.

Valleys of Pakistan are containing congruences of the paradise. Beautiful green landscapes and spacious farms are spitting the gold. We also see that we are rich of every kind of freedom and facilities but do not ever forget that in making this come true, there is part of the blood of Tipu Sultan , vision of Sir Syed and thoughts of Allama Iqbal , untiring struggles of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and endeavors of many other companions of M. A. Jinna. And everyone was aligned to achieve a single goal – a free and independent Islamic State: Pakistan .

14 AUGUST 1947 was the auspicious day of Islamic history when Pakistan, the God-Gifted country came into being. Unity of Muslims and dedication and heartiness of Quaid e Azam were the things that paved the way of creation of this country. Hindus and Britishers deceitfully campaigned, created hindrances against the movement of Pakistan but Alhamdolillah Pakistan had to be done and It appeared on the map of the world. At that time, there was only one slogan of Muslims: Le Ke Rahen Ge Pakistan, Ban Ke Rahe Ga Pakistan .

Enemies vigorously ridiculed the demand of Quaid e Azam for a separate free land, though the demand of Pakistan was based on right, reality and truth and right finally prevails. Reality, if couldn’t get acclaimed sooner or later, it is not a reality but if it does then that reality is a REALITY. And all filthy intentions of enemies went in vain before the reality of Pakistan and today Pakistan is known as one of the great nations in the world.

My compatriots! We have to love Pakistan. We admire the founders and the dreamer and thinker of Pakistan and we also pray for martyrs who lost their lives in movement of Pakistan. Those who sacrificed their homes and families against British rulers. They didn’t care for their children and accepted the hardships of prisons. And finally when Muslims of South East Asia got the freedom, right prevailed and falsehood surrendered. And the chains of slavery collapsed!

Nature has gifted Pakistan with every kind of wealth and blessings. We have abundance of streams, rivers and lakes which are irrigating our lands. We have skillful, lusty and ambitious Pakistani youths. We have best in the world Pakistani army and war strategists. Wheat, cotton, oil and rice, everything is grown in Pakistan which is exported as well. Pakistan has rich depository of minerals such as salt, coal, kerosene oil, gypsum and zamarud stones. Research work is in progress and Insha Allah there will be a day when we will also be self-sufficient in oil as well.

Pakistan is now taking part in international affairs and willing for friendship with its neighbor countries. Pakistan is seeking trading and cultural relationships with other countries. Special settlements are being considered with Islamic countries; and Pakistan is eager to build relationships with any country that is endeavoring for peace and prosperity.

Pakistan believes in peace but still it is our duty to hold enough strength for defending our motherland. By the grace of ALLAH, Pakistan is an atomic power today. May ALLAH make every Pakistani more loving to this country.

14 August Written Urdu Speech:

۴۱ اگست ۷۴۹۱ جنابِ صدر اور میرے ہم وطنو! ہمارا وطن پاکستان وہ وطن نہیں جو وراثت میں اس کے بسنے والوں کو ملا ہے بلکہ پاکستان کی بنیادیں استوار کرنے کے لیے متحدہ ہندوستان کے مسلمانوں کی ہڈیاں اینٹوں کی جگہ اور خون پانی کی جگہ استعمال ہوا ہے۔ اتنی گراں قدر تخلیق کا اندازہ وہی لگا سکتا ہے جس نے تعمیرِ پاکستان میں تن من دھن ، بیوی بچے، بہن بھائی ، عزیز و اقارب قربان کیے۔ حصولِ پاکستان کے لیے لاکھوں مسلمانوں نے جامِ شہادت نوش کیا۔ کتنی ماو¿ں کے سامنے ان کے بچے قتل کر دیے گئے۔ کتنے بے بسوں کے سامنے ان کے خاندان کو مکانوں میں بند کر کے نذرِ آتش کر دیا گیا اور وہ بے چارے دل پکڑ کر رہ گئے۔ کتنی پاکدامنوں نے نہروں اور کنوو¿ں میں ڈوب کر پاکستان کی قیمت ادا کی۔ بے شمار بچے یتیم ہوئے جو ساری عمر اپنے والدین کی شفقت کے لیے ترستے رہے۔ اس کی وادیاں اپنے اندر فردوس کی رعنائیاں لیے ہوئے ہیں۔ ہرے بھرے اور وسیع و عریض کھیت سونا اگل رہے ہیں۔ ہم یہ بھی دیکھتے ہیں کہ ہمیں ہر قسم کی آزادی اور سامان آسائش و آرائش مہیا ہے مگر یہ کبھی نہ بھولیں کہ اس میں سلطان ٹیپو کا خون سرسید کی نگاہ دوربین اقبال کے افکار قائدِ اعظم کی جہدِ مسلسل اور دوسرے اکابرین کا ایثار بھی شامل ہے اور ان کا ایسا کرنے کا مقصد کیا تھا© ©©©©”ایک آزاد اور خود مختار اسلامی مملکت کا حصول“۔ ۴۱ اگست ۷۴۹۱ وہ مبارک دن تھا جب مملکتِ خداداد پاکستان معرضِ وجود میں آیا۔مسلمانوں کے اتفاق اور قائدِ اعظم کے خلوص کی وجہ سے یہ عظیم سلطنت وجود میں آئی۔ ہندوو¿ں نے طرح طرح کی مکاریوں سے پاکستان کی مخالفت کی۔ انگریزوں نے بھی بہت رکاوٹیں پیدا کیں۔ مگر خدا کا شکر ہے کہ پاکستان بن کر رہنا تھا اور بن کر ہی رہا۔ اس وقت مسلمانوں کا یہی نعرہ تھا کہ ©©”لے کے رہیں گے پاکستان ۔ بن کے رہے گا پاکستان۔“ دشمنوں نے قائدِ اعظم کی اس تجویز کی تضحیک میں ایڑی چوٹی کا زور لگایا چونکہ ہمارا مطالبہ پاکستان کا حصول حق و صداقت پر مبنی تھا اور حق وہ ہوتا ہے جو اپنے آپ کو منوا لیتا ہے۔ حقیقت اپنے آپ کو جلد یا بدیر اگر نہیں منوا سکتی تو حقیقت نہیں ہوتی اور اگر منوا لے تو یہ حقیقت ، حقیقت ہوتی ہے اور اس کے وجود و نمود کے سامنے دشمنوں کے ناپاک عزائم خاک میں مل گئے اور آج پاکستان اپنی عظمت کو دنیا میں تسلیم کروا چکا ہے۔

میرے عزیز ہم وطنو! ہمیں پاکستان سے محبت ہے اس کے بانی سے عقیدت ہے اس کے مصور سے دلی لگاو¿ اور ان مجاہدین کے لیے ہمارے پاس مغفرت کی دعائیں ہیں۔ جنہوں نے اس کے لیے قربانیاں دیں۔ جنہوں نے تاجِ برطانیہ کے خلاف اپنے گھر بار قربان کر دیے۔ اپنی اولاد کی پروا نہ کی اور سلاسل و زنداں کی سختیوں کو خندہ پیشانی سے برداشت کیا نتیجہ یہ ہوا کہ جب آزادی کے جذبہِ فراواں سے تمام ہندی مسلمان سرشار ہو گئے تو زنداں کی دیواریں لرز گئیں۔ فرنگی استعمار سجدہ ریز ہو گیا اور غلامی کی زنجیریں موئے آتش کدہ بن گئیں۔ جب اس انگارہ خاکی میں ہوتا ہے یقیں پیدا تو کر لیتا ہے یہ بال و پُر روح الامیں پیدا قدرت نے پاکستان کو ہر نعمت سے نوا زا ہے۔ دریاو¿ں ندی نالوں کی افراط ہے جن سے چپہ چپہ زمین سیراب و آباد کی جا رہی ہے۔ اس ملک کے نوجوان تنو مند، حوصلہ مند اور ہنر مند ہیں۔ تجارتی صنعتی اور زرعی میدان میں خوب ترقی کر رہے ہیں۔ جنگی مہارت میں بھی دنیا کے بہترین ماہرین شامل ہیں۔ یہاں پر گیہوں، کپاس، تیل نکالنے کے بیج اور چاول کثرت سے ہوتے ہیں جو ایکسپورٹ بھی ہوتے ہیں۔ معدنیات کا ذخیرہ بھی موجود ہے مثلاََ نمک، مٹی کا تیل، کوئلہ اور سیمنٹ بنانے کا پتھر جپسم اور زمرد کے ذخائر بھی دریافت ہو چکے ہیں۔ مزید تحقیق جاری ہے۔ وقت آئے گا جب ہم تیل میں بھی انشاءاللہ خود کفیل ہو جائیں گے۔

بین الاقوامی معاملات میں بھی پاکستان بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لے رہا ہے۔ اپنے ہمسایوں سے دوستی کا خواہاں ہے۔ دوسرے ملکوں سے تجارتی اور ثقافتی تعلقات بڑھائے جا رہے ہیں۔ اسلامی ممالک سے خاص طور پر معاہدے کیے جا رہے ہیں اور ہر اس ملک سے دستِ تعاون بڑھانے کے لیے تیار ہیں جو امن کے لیے کوشاں ہیں۔ ہم پُر امن رہنے کے لیے یقین رکھتے ہیں مگر اپنی حفاظت کے لیے اپنی قوت کو بھی قائم رکھنا اپنا فرض سمجھتے ہیں۔ الحمداللہ آج پاکستان ایٹمی قوت ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر پاکستانی کو اس ملکِ عزیز سے مزید محبت کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔(آمین ثم آمین)
