The heart is in the right place throughout Doll House, but it is so poorly made that most of its legitimate emotionality takes a back seat to utter incompetence. Permalink. Unrealistic and nonsensical plot points in this movie and it just ends up as the same Filipino formula which is at the climax of the movie is 30min crying scenes. It was predictable, unrealistic human expressions or reactions, very slow paced with absolutely nothing going on worth detailing or missing.

Flaws aside in its writing, "Doll House" delivered more sensational moments than dull ones and the fact that it at least tried to do something extraordinary albeit on a limited scale counts a lot. Verdict. All in all, even though the performances were exceptional, the movie was boring, drab, and vague.
