• Step 1: Go visit the official website of KSOU.
• Step 2: Click on the “Students Zone” tab in the menu section.
• Step 3: Select the “Assignments” tab from the drop-down menu options of the Student Zone main tab.

• Step 4: The students can see two boxes to enter the programme and the semester for which they need the assignment topics.
• Step 5: Once entering the details, press “Submit”.
• Step 6: Download and save the KSOU assignment topics for each course accordingly. 

The general instructions about the KSOU assignment will help the students to present the assignment format according to the faculties expectations which will ultimately help the students to score high marks. 

• The students are required to use A4 sheets to answer the assignment questions.
• It is important for the assignments to be handwritten by the students. 
• The students are expected to write their assignments in continuity and in a systematic order.
• The KSOU assignment format is to have the introduction, the questions and the answers in order, and the conclusion for the topic in the student's own words.

Karnataka State Open University, Mysuru has started its Placement Cell effective from 29 th of June 2019. This cell is functioning with its excellent quality since inception. Ans:Since the data is saved at the end of every stage with the 'Save' button, your data is automatically saved till the previous stage. If you are within a particular stage and the system is interrupted due to power failure or loss of connectivity, then your current stage data will not be saved. Q: Payment has been deducted from Credit Card/Debit Card/ my account but I have not received any confirmation. What should I do? Ans: If the payment has been deducted but you did not get acknowledgement for the same, please you can contact techinical helpline, techinical helpline no is in website, before contact helpline make sure your mobileno,email,transaction no.

Q: After Payment of the application fee, what information shall I receive through email/SMS? Ans: You will get the confirmation of payment made by you through SMS.

Q: Where do I have to contact after successful submission of form? Ans: Once the application Form is successfully submitted, your form will be scrutinised by KSOU staff and if it fulfils the eligibility criteria you will receive a confirmation to that effect at your registered Mobile Number. If a deficiency is found in the application, you will receive a communication from KSOU informing you about the discrepancy. After successful processing of your form, the University will provide you further information with regard to confirmation of your admission, allotment of study centre and other details for induction etc. in due course of time.

Q: What is the time frame for getting confirmation of my admission? Ans: The Admission forms submitted through the Online Admission System are scrutinised and confirmed for admission subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria. The forms are processed region wise on a first come first serve basis. Therefore, the time required for processing of forms for different Regional Centres may vary depending on the number of applicants from the respective regions.

Q: If I want to withdraw from the programme after confirmation of my admission, shall I get my fee refunded? Ans: Yes, University has a limited provision for cancellation of Programme and refund of fee as prescribed in the Refund Policy of the University. You may refer to the guidelines pertaining to ‘Refund of Fee’ under the ‘University Rules’ section of the KSOU Common Prospectus. In cases where University denies admission, the programme fee will be refunded after deduction of processing fee, if any. The refund amount will be transferred electronically to the credit/debit/net banking account from where payment was made.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Max Scherzer of the Texas Rangers threw 40 pitches to hitters on Tuesday and expressed hope that he can begin a rehab assignment soon.

“Got to recover well from this,” Scherzer said. “Make sure my thumb is OK as I ramp back up into this. As long as I check that box, hopefully I can get out there on rehab.”

Manager Bruce Bochy, who watched the session from behind home plate, echoed the three-time Cy Young Award winner’s optimism.

“We’ll check on him tomorrow, a good chance he will start his rehab possibly,” Bochy said. “I think that’s the way it’s leaning right now.”

Pitching coach Mike Maddux watched from behind the mound, while owner Ray Davis and general manager Chris Young were among team spectators in the dugout.

Scherzer had surgery in mid-December to repair a herniated disk in his lower back. The 39-year-old right-hander pitched one rehab outing on April 24 with Triple-A Round Rock, throwing 52 pitches. He was scratched from a second start because of right thumb soreness that team doctors later identified as a nerve issue that extended to his right triceps.

“Given that I’ve been dealing with this (thumb injury) for over a year, I’ve got to see if all the new exercises are going to do something,” Scherzer said.

The Rangers acquired Scherzer from the New York Mets in a deadline trade last July after the pitcher agreed to opt in on the final year of his contract for this season at $43.3 million. New York is paying $30.83 million of that to Texas in twice-monthly installments.

After the trade, Scherzer was 4-2 with a 3.20 ERA in eight starts for Texas, the last in the regular season on Sept. 12 before being sidelined by a muscle strain in his shoulder . He returned to make two starts in the American League Championship Series, then Game 3 of the World Series before exiting after three innings because of his back.

His 3,367 career strikeouts are the most among active pitchers, and he’s second on the active list with 214 wins and 448 games started.
