HORRIBLE service and people. The owner of the site, will pretend to be your best friend and be easily accessible, until you make the payment - which is overpriced anyway. He just read the paper and corrected the first few flaws he noticed.

Essay Edge content makes it very unclear what the actual list of services is, but I believe I can help you get some idea. Firstly, you have to look into the categories in the tab on the homepage, i.e. MBA, graduate, college, medical, law and academic writing. Choose the academic level or option academic writing to see more details, pricing included.

Imagine my surprise when I found that this is not a writing company at all. Instead, this company is offering only editing and proofreading services for the papers you already have written, and at a very high price, too.

Prices Review

At first, I thought there are no prices to see here, but they are just hard to find. As I said, you have to open the specific academic level page or the option “academic writing” to see a price list. In all cases, there are three pricing groups: proofreading, standard and premier.

These are supposed to be packages, but the first one is only proofreading of a paper that is “looking for a quick polish”. The deadline for all these is 48 hours, except if you want to pay additional price to get a 24-hour delivery.

The prices at Essay Edge are incredibly high, and judging by the other customer Essayedge review, I’m not the only one to think so. In fact, a price of $59 for proofreading a 300-word paper is so high, I believe that you can actually get this paper written from scratch at a lower rate. And here, you need to have one to get a “quick polish”. The worse news is, the prices only go upwards. If you go for the standard package, you get proofreading, constructive critique and “content and tone to help you write”, and you’d have to pay $119 for 300 words.

The most disappointing offers are those of the premier package. Prices for this option start at outrageous $359 for 300 words, and the company seems to limit every feature offered in the package. For example, you get proofreading, one brainstorm session, two phone sessions with the editor, two rounds of critique and 14 days of e-mail support.

Content Quality

As I said, there is no content here, so this is more of a “service quality” than content quality. As you know, I don’t enough another’s Essay Edge reviews, and in order to give you a full picture of what essayedge.com offers, I paid the incredibly high fee to get some proofreading on a paper I intentionally made mistakes in.

I chose the standard option because the last one is obviously too steep for any student’s budget, so it is out of the question. For a rush delivery within 24 hours, I was asked to add $59 to the price that already exceeded $200.

What I got was an improved essay, in the sense that it had no mistakes at all and was fully proofread. Other than proofreading, nothing was done to polish the essay. If you thought this company offers full editing at that rate like I did, you were mistaken.

The ordering process is very hectic. There’s no price calculator, and it’s difficult to tell which service category to choose. Ordering on the site via PC and mobile phone takes longer than I’ve spent on any other site I have reviewed. Still, you can choose your editor or get assigned automatically. This EssayEdge review rates service efficiency at 5/10.

I set a 48-hour deadline on EssayEge.com, and I got my edited paper back 3 hours early. However, the paper had only minor improvements, which prompted me to request a revision. The completed paper came hours after the initial deadline, with no refund for late delivery.

You can contact the customer support managers 24/7 via phone, email, and live chat for a coupon or other queries. I tested the site by sending a query via email; I got a reply after 30 minutes. So, customer support is relatively efficient, earning a score of 8/10.

Discounts and Features

First-time users get a 15% EssayEdge student discount. Also, you can subscribe to get discount coupons for your next order. The coupons are valid for a specific time period. The promo code is sent to your email.

EssayEdge does not guarantee that their edits will get you accepted into a college or university. Also, they lack the real refund and plagiarism free guarantees. Mostly because they only edit what you have already written.

Price Review

The site has four pricing groups: proofreading, standard, premier, and all in one. The price for proofreading a 300-word paper is $69 and Premier editing costs $379 for 300 words. Thus, I can say, that EssayEdge is incredibly pricey.

Service Comparison

In comparison to top writing and editing services, such as CustomWritings.com and DoMyPapers.com, EssayEdge offers few types of services and is more expensive. However, EssayEdge editor work with shorter deadlines and specialize in one service, so you’ll get your paper edited quickly.

Who Is this Service For?

The service is good for students looking to boost their chances of admission to colleges and universities by having a professional polish their essay drafts. It’s ideal for international students applying for MBA, law degree, and medical courses.

Worth the Money

I wouldn’t recommend using EssayEdge. There are tons of other websites that offer high-quality editing at cheaper prices. We give the site an overall grade of 6/10 because the value of the service isn't worth the premium pricing.

Online Reputation

Essay Edge has many online reviews. Some reviews praise the quality of editing and the short turnaround time. However, other customers were unsatisfied with minor polishing, high prices, and slow customer service. Overall, the company isn’t reputable.

Order Process

To place an order on EssayEdge, login and choose the package that meets your goal. Then, upload the paper, pay, and wait for the edited paper. The process takes time due to consultations with the editor and no price calculator. The process is longer than most popular sites, such as RushEssay.com.  

EssayEdge com claims to employ reliable editors from the Ivy League. However, unlike competitors like CustomWritings, I couldn’t find the process of matching clients with specialized editors. 

The website provides four legal payment methods, which are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. The payment methods are popular across the globe so it’s pretty easy and convenient to pay on the website.  

If you’re looking for EssayEdge writing help, you’ll not get it since the site only offers editing and proofreading services. Based on mixed reviews and personal experience, the quality of editing isn’t worth paying a fortune. In my view, the exorbitant prices should be illegal. To sum it all up, my score for this writing service is 7.5 out of 10 .

Yes, EssayEdge has a vast pool of dependable editors and a solid privacy policy. Hence, it’s safe to use the website to edit and proofread essays.

Is EssayEdge Legit?

Yes, EssayEdge is a legit editing service that has been in the market for over a decade. However, the quality of editing you get depends on the choice of editor.  

How Good is Essay Edge?

EssayEdge charges multiple times more than its rivals. Yet, you’re not guaranteed a perfect score that earns a grad school admission. So, I would say the high cost isn’t justified.

Is EssayEdge Scam?

EssayEdge is not a scam. Many students have used it and have successfully been admitted to colleges and universities. Nevertheless, the quality of editing is not assured.

Essayedge is definitely one of the best essay services I have ever used. I am not very creative when writing essays myself, I need a prompt to get started and with their help, I get past that problem without having to plagiarize an essay. I would recommend them!

The editing service at Essayedge is top notch. I love writing but I am not good at correcting my own mistakes so I when I need an editor I always use them and let me tell you, they are excellent quality for the price and super fast!
